Unwise, immature, and always having sex or looking for it.
Now I understand most teens have sex at 16, 15, hell even 14, but some of the teens that do actually use protection. Are these unwise teens? Why is it when a teen fights back when they are hit in school they are considered immature and violent?
Why do people think that most teens are sex-crazed people and show be supervised when with the opposite sex?
My question is: Why do people think this about most teens? Also why do most people go to such lengths to stop us from contacting with the opposite sex?

Sex is not always used to making babies. It is also used for pleasure and it's not also a adult activity.
It is not your place to say what teens should or should not be doing.

Missy... you are so backwards. Sex is for makin babies huh? Is the only time you had sex when you were trying to conceive? I doubt. Babies get left and dropped for all sorts of reasons, and by all different groups. Its not just the teens that have done that. What about the adults that just flat out kill their babies bc they are not responsible enough to go on anti depressants?
It is normal for teens to want and to have sex. What is wrong are the backwards parents who wont even teach their child the correct names of their body parts.

People have always thought this. It was the same when we were teenagers and we hated it also. I don't have this opinion of teenagers. I have two of them myself and another that is close. My children have always been encouraged to stick up for themselves. They are not allowed to start a fight but if one is picked with them then they better defend themselves. It is the only way. If you don't you will be a target for others with something to prove. I do not stop them from contacting the opposite sex. They are well educated on the subject and they know how to act. Sooner or later they are all going to have sex and sitting on top of them is not going to change it. As for being unwise, if they are using protection I would call them wise. They still have these opinions when you are a young adult too. Keep your head up and prove them wrong.

Like u just said "some teens that do use protection" Meaning u think its OK for teens to have sex that's the problem young teens should not be haven sex!!!!! many years ago women would never sleep with a guy that young unless they were married now a days kids think its OK to do and its getting worse as time goes by. Teens should not be doing adult things sex is for maken babies and when these teens end up preg we have unwanted babies in this world and abortions done left and right not to even mention all the stds going around....So ya parents r going to try to stop u from being with the opposite sex! Also to add this in baby's ending up in dumpsters or trash cans or left in front of a fire station because teens think they have the balls to have sex but don't have the balls to stand up to there parents and tell them they r haven sex and got preg.

Wow being a teenager is a confusing time, they need more guidence now then ever before in there lives. They're caught between being adults and being children. They want to be both. The have all the answers and don't want to be told what to do but at the same time want to be taken care of. Not all teens are stupid, they just need more guidence then and 8 year old.

Everyone has an opinion, I could go off on you right now if I chose to.
Sex at 15 and 16 is fine with me if they use proper protection. I'm being very reasonable.
It's not THAT hard to put a condom on, seriously.
& For the people who say that teenagers are too lazy to put condoms on? You're probably right. But I'd bet they flip you off in a heartbeat. Sadly pathetic.

i sorta agree with missy when she said back in the old days teens were not having sex that young. im 19 and i know this because my mom is 52 and she told me about her days soo much. but having sex really is suppose to be for adults, now these days too many teens are having sex and its gettin out of control because they starting to be as young as 12 now. hell, i met a girl who told me she started having sex at 9. and it wasnt unwanted either, it was wanted. its ridiculous. and you wonder why our parents are very insecure about us and the opposite sex? its because they dont want us doing the same things. maybe there are some teens who raise their kids well, but still they shouldnt be having sex so young. i wish we could ban teen pregnancy and stuff but too bad we cant
