Okay, so I was out to dinner with my brother in-law, my nieces and nephews, and his boss and his family. I am from out of town and never met his boss or his family. At the end of the meal the boss is paying for the dinner, do I offer him money there at the table or offer afterwards or offer no money but thanks for the dinner? My brother in-law said he wants to take us out to dinner and I am invited.

I don't have any problems paying, I just felt awkward, like would it be insulting to offer to pay? What is the expectation? I don't want to seem presumptuous either. Is a "thank you" enough?

My sister and niece started some chaos with me and got my mother involved in it saying untrue things that I supposedly said and I didn't. My mother was upset and confronted me about it and began yelling at me and I had to hang up the phone on her and we didn't speak for a few weeks. Well now my mother knows that I didn't say what they implicated that was said by myself and she is now talking to me. However, my sister and niece are still acting like they are high and mighty and better than me and have always treated me in this manner. I don't want to be around them and I don't want there to be any problems at my mother's home during the holiday. My sister cannot leave things alone and I know she will say something smart and I have had it with her and my other sisters with the way they act because they married into money and thing they are better than everyone else; should I stay away or should I go and hope that nothing will be said to start any problem.

listen and reading the news weeks ago that Senator Clinton has the white house due to her poll numbers. now, we read the Obama is now ahead in the polls in Iowa, same media folks (some) are puzzled and questioning the numbers. I think that the media is slanted towards Senator Clinton. Do you agree?

my computer/monitor has problems turning on.
i have a custom built computer. specs:
amd64 3800 x2 am2 65w
GIGABYTE GA-M55plus-S3G AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Mobo
GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI-e x16
500w apevia power supply
CORSAIR XMS2 (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
1 dvdrom
1 dvd+/- R with lightscribe
no floppy
30gig ide harddrive with windows xp pro
120 gig ide for data
500 gig sata for data

every time i turn on the computer, the dvdrom drives will spinclick with or without any cd/dvd inside it and until it stops clicking, the monitor will either turn on or it doesnt. if i'm lucky, it'll click a couple of times then the monitor will turn on. if it doesnt, i have to re-seat the video card and try again until there is video on the monitor. monitor works fine cuz i replaced it twice. i'm not sure how to fix this. sometimes it'll work right off the bat without re-seating the video, sometimes it'll take 1-50 times.

I turned 15 last month and am 5 10 and 3/4. Both parents are 5 7' but my grandpa was 6 4' how much taller will I grow. Really like basketball but shortest guy on the team.

all the websites say the same exact thing & i'm still confused on how to get there by bus or train...... the things i'm confused on are

1- do trains go by there cuz all the sites keep saying that trains stop at grand central & 42nd street in times sqare
2- so the buses M42 or M34 go by the South Ferry??

my lease is due by the end of this month and my landlord is charging me 700 dollars off my deposit because i did not warn her that i was going to stay in her condo by the end of the lease, and i was going to move out!!

she said that i was required to let her know in 30 days advanced
and nowhere in the lease it says that i had to!!

is what she is diong right?
