im trying to breed blood worms, i have some in a plastic container covered (so it is dark) and i have an air rator.
also, what do i feed them?

Bloodworms are larvae, so the bloodworms themselves will not breed. Instead, they will hatch into insects that will breed, making more bloodworms... If you really want to breed some fish food, try blackworms... A single starter "batch" will yield all the food you could want, and growing it yourself means they are much less likely to contain harmful bacteria or parasites... Check out this site for starters... http://aquaticfoods.com/freesamples.html $20 for half a pound of blackworms will last you forever when they start multiplying, and you may be able to sell them to your local fish store as fish food...

Blood worms come from poluted ponds. To keep them alive, they need cold water.

Put them together in a nice bowl of dirt, light some candles, serve some wine, and play some Air Supply CDs. Then let nature take it's course
