really isaiah? just really curious what you guys think about it.

To true Christians this date holds nothing special at all.
It is just the year after 2011 , the one before 2013.
I believe that some people think that 2012 is something special due to what Nostraldamus said.
However , should a true Christian be following what he said , after all , he was an astrologer.
And astrology is a pagan teaching.
The Bible says this about all of these sorts of people in Isaiah 47:12-14
''Stand still, now, with your spells and with the abundance of your sorceries, in which you have toiled from your youth; that perhaps you might be able to benefit, that perhaps you might strike people with awe. You have grown weary with the multitude of your counselors. Let them stand up, now, and save you, the worshipers of the heavens, the lookers at the stars, those giving out knowledge at the new moons concerning the things that will come upon you. Look! They have become like stubble. A fire itself will certainly burn them up. They will not deliver their soul from the power of the flame. . . ''.
Yes , the astrologers are not even able to save themselves from the destruction coming to them.
The things spoken by Nostraldamus are demon inspired lies and untruth.
1 Timothy 4:1. . .''However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons, ''
So true Christian will not be paying any attention at all to what these sorts of people have predicted , but rather look to Gods word as the only true and reliable source of information about future events.
It has proved to be reliable in the past , and will be proved again trustworthy in the future.

I'm not a Christan but 2012 is just another year in a decade. What you should be concerning your self with is global warming and how you can do your part to recycle the products that you buy on a daily basis.

It doesn't really matter, one way or another. Christ told us that only the Father knows the time and the date. No one else.
On a lighter note, if it's going to happen, it had better happen before the beginning of October or after Christmas. Cause I'm going to be really hacked if I get all of my Christmas shopping done and my cards out just to not have Christmas!!!! :)
