Be like Jew. Jew say there is no hell. But Jew is prejudice and discriminate against gays! It is YOUR choice who you choose to have a relationship with, not a church. It is your choice if you choose to feel bad for something that is natural and normal just because some diety with lots of cash and a freakin seat in the UN for crying out loud... Ok, rant over. Forget fearing a celestial marshmallow and run freee! To the Tool Shed!

The bible doesn't say. There are a couple of phrases that are against homosexuality, and then some more that suggest sinners go to hell, but I don't think there's anything specifically saying what you're asking.

I think you have to have a serious think about how much your beliefs mean to you. If you're not a regular bible reader, does it matter? Which is more important, your life now or something that may or may not happen in the future? (Most likely you will just be dead, you don't remember before you were born.)

Oh, and also according to some interpretations of the bible, even thinking sexually about men is bad enough. So if you're already screwed (no pun intended) you should make it worth your while, right?

The Bible does not state they go to hell. It states it is a sin. If one sin sends a person to hell. Looks like only God, Jesus and the angels will occupy it.

Aside from that, I might believe a gay could go to hell if he practiced gay out of pure choice. Scientific and medical evidence shows most gays to have female brain activity, physiological differences as well. So at least these are not choices. I would have to wonder if God will send people to hell for being incorrectly constructed. Gluttony is considered a bigger sin than drunkenness. So watch out overweight people. Many Christians accept gays. Try Episcopal, Methodist, Universal among others. You'll be accepted and they won't lecture to impossibly change. You do have a bigger problem than being gay, possibly. You mention liking men. Gays, like heterosexuals should commit to a single relationship. My opinion is having multiple partners is a much bigger wrong. I'll add I have yet to meet a gay that was gay by choice. I have heard of gays that were castrated in an attempt to stop. And even that did not end their orientation or need of companionship.

Homophobic religious fanatics believes that the bible say that homosexual will be punished as all other sinners. However, the bible is open to many other interpretations. Defenders of gay rights say that the bible does not demonize homosexuals. This sometimes torments LGBT people of faith who are feeling conflicted between their faith and sexuality. I'd say that you should seek out LGBT friendly Christian organizations (they do exist). Biblical scholars, ministers, and congregations who believe that being LGBT does not exclude you from Heaven, Jesus, and peace. Quite a few of the members are LGBT themselves. You just have to do a little research on the net, and see if any are located in your area.

I am a heterosexual atheist who believes many of the problems of organized religion is the divisions they often cause.

At the time of death, the soul and spirit leave the body. The body is put into the grave. In the case of believers, the body is described as sleeping, Acts 7:59, 60; 8:2, while the unsaved person's body is spoken of as dead. The soul and spirit never sleep. If the person who died was saved, the soul and the spirit go to a place of joy and happiness – heaven. II Corinthians 5:8; Phil. 1:21- 23. If the person was unsaved, the spirit and soul go to a place of sorrow and punishment - hell. In Luke 16:19-31, our Lord clearly teaches that those who have died are conscious.

because your question includes "according to the bible" u are gonna get many differing versions of opinions not necessarily the truth. there is only one TRUTH. Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.

my advice to you is it is better to FEAR GOD rather than FEAR HELL and the answer will come to you automatically. heres a bible verse if ya like "the FEAR of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" thats deep man dont ya think? you might wanna meditate on that rather than thinking about hell so much

we are all sinners, God loves us regardless, but we need to be SINCERE in our love for Him so fear Him and not hell. He created hell for those that DONT fear Him.

God bless

According to the Bible, they go to hell. But sweetie, I know in my heart that God doesn't care about those petty things. God made you just the way you are, and He loves you just as much as He loves me. Don't listen to what those ******* say. As long as you live a good life and love God, you'll be fine. Fundamentalist Christians are afraid of what they don't understand. And how is it that people react to things they fear? With hate. You just live your life to the fullest and don't let those archaic beliefs stop you from being happy.

God bless

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Romans 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

Romans 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
vs.23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD.

Acts 2:37-38 Now when they heard this, they wre pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Who knows? Nobody knows!

Not the bible...
Not the preachers...
Not any religion...

NOBODY knows where we go. It's up to you if you want to believe in heaven or hell...

The bible is just a book, put together by the Vatican a long time ago. A choice of some Gospels, translated and translated again. The Gospels are stories of people, people like you and me.

Heaven and hell are an invention of the Vatican. By preaching this, they were (and still are) able to scare people, in order to get more money ("paying the church, will keep you out of hell").

It's not wrong to be gay, it's not a sin to be either. If this is your feeling, then it's okay!

God does not just reserve Heaven for heterosexuals although many of them want you to believe that. Since God also created gay people, the same rules apply to us. If you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and repent of your sins (homosexuality not being one of those sins), then you will be saved. The Bible is very clear: "Whosoever believes in Christ will have everlasting life." It does not say, "Whichever heterosexual believes in Christ will have everlasting life."

Since homophobia conflicts with Christ's commandment to treat others as we want to be treated, it is a sin. Homophobia leads to harm, violence and even murder of gay people. Those actively promoting this sin need to repent instead of pointing their fingers at others.
