The hospital I work at does all kinds of things to help our employees quit smoking (i.e. free classes/support groups, discounted smoking cessation tools--gum, patch, etc.). They also punish employees who smell like smoke while they're at work, and use only designated smoking areas OFF hospital property, punishing those who don't.
Yet this health care organization does little to help and never punishes the numerous morbidly obese employees who work there, when their condition is clearly as great of a health risk. I think it looks peculiar to have doctors, nurses, therapists, and others that look like they've never driven past a donut shop without stopping.
I'm not saying the employees need to look like athletes, but they should at least look like they practice what they preach. I think it would lend more credence to their status as health professionals. Your thoughts?

Can being sick cause you have contractions, or put you into labor? I'm coming down with a really nasty cold, and i'm not sure, but my head feels kinda hot. I've had this for a couple days now. It's just starting to get worse. I've been having constant cramping in the vagina area, and LOTS of painful pressure. I'm 35 weeks. Thanks for your time.

He is snaky and angry all the time. I think its probably his dads and my fault. When he was growing up we worked on a roadhouse full time and didnt make enough time to spend with him.

He was very difficult as a child and we were quite hard on him, we think now this was the wrong way to handle things. We used to yell at him a lot when he was naughty and now thats the way he handles things. I feel like we are responsible but now we just want to help him.

I have taken him to counselling, they told him to take 3 deep breaths when he is angry but he says he cant, its too hard.

He is nasty to his brother and sometimes there is just no talking to him.

If anybody has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

The plastic UV filter on my desk lamp broke in half. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement for it because you're not supposed to use the lamp without the filter or else it will emit UV rays. Plus...I don't want to buy a whole new lamp because the lamp still works fine.

hey, im tyring to buy all my products which are animal cruelty free or not tested on animals...(the whole brand/distributor) .... i usually use the old spice high endurance for men and it is the only one i can find that works for me so i dont smell funky... does anyone know of one that actually works (i dont care if it is not all natrual or whatever cause i tried to find the all natural ones but they dont work on me and i smell) and is animal cruelty free/not tested on animals... thanks!
