My own typos I have to go back and edit.
I'm not out to find fault with other folks.

Actually, it depends on the question... sometimes we have to cut out the letters/characters in order to fit. Or it could just be a typo... I always look at the keyboard and follow the keys, this way you can determine if it was a simple mistake or not. Also, chat/im spoiled us and limited most of us to not writing properly. These new acronyms are amazingly confusing for those of us from other generations. I find myself confused and I just don't bother to answer the question.
If you find yourself irritated then perhaps you've spent too much time on Yahoo Answers. I advise to simply overlook the typos, grammatical errors, and misspellings because it certainly should not raise your blood pressure... just keep it moving and find another perhaps smarter member's question and answer it.
Simply stated

The ones who irritate me most on here are those who are just out and out rude. There's no need for that.
Some people seem to ask silly questions, but to me that's just one way to learn.
Oh, and those people who ask the same question the same way over and over because they didn't get the answer they wanted. That's irritating.

When people write with horrid grammar and spelling it irks me. How can you give someone an educated answer when your typing makes you seem less educated than most fifth graders?

Yes! Especially when they don't use spell check, and moreso when it's such a simple word to spell. So people, read your question before you post, make sure others can understand what you are asking.

When they use IM abbreviations all the time.
It's OK here and there but when the entire thing is typed like an IM it's irksome.

They don't know there is a spell check on this thing. That is an automatic strike out for me.

The spelling. I think everyone should use the spell check before asking, or answering a question

When they try to jump the gun on first answer by posting simply a punctuation mark, then go back and edit it for an actual answer. I always give them a thumbs down rating. Hey, I'm judging their answer at the time I see it, not what they change it to later. :)
