It could be bowel problems, but it sounds more like an ovarian cyst. If it keeps up for more than a week, or if it gets worse or is accompanied by any new symptoms, like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or fever, I'd make sure to see a doctor.

Best of luck!

This happened to me in April. It bothered me so much after a few days of it that I went to the gynecologist and got a full workup and they found nothing. After a couple more weeks, I went to an urgent care clinic and they found a kidney stone. It was in the same area, the lower left abdomen.

I would go to the doctor if you determine that it isn't menstrual cramps.

i had to go to emergency this weekend cuz i had the same thing and mine turned out to be a bladder infection you will need antibotics if thats the case, if you still have it in morning or if the pain gets worse you should go to er it could lead to kidney problems and you dont want that.

the only thing in the lower left abdomen, other than your left ovary, is bowel. Have you had a good bowel movement lately?
