Some people think that God didn't answer their prayer because they didn't see anything. Sometimes God answers prayers by not doing anything because it's just going to be a problem if God does answer. God knows best. And sometime people ask, but they don't believe. So you need to believe. The wars where a prediction in the Bible. It's apart of God's special plan. He has a special plan for every one of us and for the whole world.

Well, there might be some people praying just as hard for the war to continue.
God also gives us free will. We have to free will to make war. Look at it like God is watching over us, as opposed to ruling us. When God wanted His people out of Egypt. He used Moses. It didn't happen overnight. It took several plagues and the death of Pharaoh's son before His people were let go.
God works in His own way. His people prayed to be freed from slavery and it took a while for Him to bring Moses to lead the people.

He who has the faith the size of a mustard seed can ask the mountain to move and it will. When you go deeper you realize that you can not pray for anything which goes against God's will. So pray for your leaders to have wisdom to end the conflict because God will honor that prayer.

Since god has already prophecied the future, what is the point of prayer? And since all must be in accordance to his will, prayer is even more insignificant. Just a messed up fairy tale....a seriously messed up one.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

(1 John 5:14) . . .And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that, no matter what it is that we ask
according to his will, he hears us.
