Who cares if we haven't beaten anybody that lives up to everyone elses standards of impressive? We set a school record of being 11-0!! We've never done that! That's IMPRESSIVE in and of itself! I'm for KU! Anybody with me?

Alright when i was 15 i had a cousin named amy.We both had a myspace.That was the only way we could stay connected cause she lived in portugal and i lived in california.Then one day i was on myspace and she haden't been on for a year.I emailed her and tryed everything but she'd never replied back.Four days ago i looked at her myspace and she hasen't been on for four days.Then i looked her up on people search and it said "Amy Ponceano Deceased Age 23".That's when i went online and searched portugal's news and it turns out 2years ago a car with my cousin (amy) and her boyfriend (henery)Were driving in a foggy night when they drove into a lake and drowned.I am depressed and my mom and my family dosen't know my cousin and her boyfriend soon to be husband is dead.How can i tell then without makeing them break down crying.

Next year i'll begin medicine and i was hoping for some advise, hints and tips from people who have already been there to make my life a little easier. Advise such as what is the most important part of medical school and how i should be studying to keep my grades up would be great, really anything helpful will be greatly appreciated :-)

I'm doing an assignment on potted foliage and flower plants I can't seem to find the answer to, i need information on the following:
- select quality potted plants at the markets
- box/ package & transport the plans to the florist shop
- care for the plants until sold

I've got some books but the information is not what I am looking for..
do you know any good articles or websites would be helpful?

In Ferlinghetti's poem "Reading Apollinaire by the Rouge River," at the end it reads:
"As I sit reading a French poet
whose most famous poem is about
the river that runs through the city
taking time & life & lovers with it
and none returning
none returning"
I have read Apollinaire and tried researching this but still cannot figure out which poem he is referring to. Does anyone know?

I recently read Arthur Miller's Memoirs in which he mentioned how when 'Death of a Salesman' was on Broadway, it showed to full houses every night, and he was making about $20,000 a week in royalties. The idea that a 'serious' play could have such an impact today seems basically 'zero' today. I've heard the arguments about ticket prices, competition from film, tv, but could the reason be that people no longer have a 'suspension of disbelief' but rather think that it's pretty dumb to watch real live people acting in front of you pretending they're saying and doing things that are just made up since it's so obvious that they are just 'acting.' And a related point, is there any playwright in the U.S. that can make a living just writing plays and not teach or write screenplays/teleplays as well.

Okay, so it's early here---just barely Monday morning at midnight---and I'm on the only one awake. I recorded a movie, Big Fish, that seems good, but sad (a father in near death is in the hospital, and his estranged son is with him and the two are recalling memories and stories and bonding); like I said, seems like a good movie, but at the same time, seems like it'd be sort of sad. There's another TV show I recorded that seems interesting; it's less emotional, and it would be entertaining. I want to see the movie, but at the same time, I don't want to be tear-jerked by it. What do I do, movie or show?

One day a 5th grade class was taking a field trip but the weather was extremely bad and the trip was to be delayed and they had to stay in a hotel for the night. So Little Johnny was sleeping in the same room as his teacher. In the middle of the night the teacher woke up and was frightened by the sight of Johnny standing right over her. He asked if he could sleep with her cause he couldn’t sleep. She said okay, then Johnny asked to lay a little closer and she said okay. Then he asked if he could put his finger in her belly button…and she said “NO”. “But my mommy lets me do it when I can’t sleep and it helps.” So the teacher says ” okay fine, do whatever your mom lets you do.” and a few minutes later the teacher says “OH…that not my bellybutton.” And Johhny says, “thats not my finger.”
