Usually I try to refrain myself from doing that but, sometimes if it is really important then I do cut them off. I am working on it though.
I read somewhere that the art of good conversation involves:
1. Eye contact.
2. Actually listening. You should NOT be thinking of what you will say next, you should be thinking about what the other person is saying to you.

Its a dreadful habit and since I have been pulled up on it a few times I have stopped doing it. Its rude and bad manners.
