To watch, or not to watch (movie at midnight)?

Question

Okay, so it's early here---just barely Monday morning at midnight---and I'm on the only one awake. I recorded a movie, Big Fish, that seems good, but sad (a father in near death is in the hospital, and his estranged son is with him and the two are recalling memories and stories and bonding); like I said, seems like a good movie, but at the same time, seems like it'd be sort of sad. There's another TV show I recorded that seems interesting; it's less emotional, and it would be entertaining. I want to see the movie, but at the same time, I don't want to be tear-jerked by it. What do I do, movie or show?

Also, I'd feel alittle more emotional over it, since my dad's not around and I'd start feeling guilty for my lack of good feelings and trust over him. I don't want to sleep right now, it's Thanksgiving break and this one show I want to watch isn't on for a few more hours.

if you plan on going to sleep i'd watch the show. it sounds like something that won't get you too emotional for sleeping! if you can have a good cry and still snooze then go for the movie. or why not just splurge, get some ice cream, and watch them both, one right after the other!
