The Good Old Days:
Pre-feminist paedagogy

Flunking the Kid: if their work isn't up to standard we fail the kid. This may mean repeating just one course, or an entire year. Boys fared better then.

Strapping the Kid: no problems with ADD/ADHD in those days. If a kid wasn't doing what he or she was supposed to, the teacher or principal would whack them once on each open palm with a thick leather strap. Boys fared better then.

Detention: bad kids get to sit at their desk doing even MORE course work for an hour or so after school - sometimes for weeks on end. Boys fared better then.

OK before I say anything else this question is NOT an invitation for misogynists to give "blame the victim" answers!

Now to explain my question..is it possible that some women don't recognise the signs of an abuser's behaviour and take them as signals before they are go into an abusive relationship? I mean they just couldn't see it?

Of course an abuser can be so good at hiding it at first that Any one can miss it. I hope we all realise that.

But some women spot abusers more early than others and I'm wondering than maybe some women simply can't? The perception or intuition for it is just not there.

If this is true than can we teach them what the signs of a potential abuser are? What is the best way to do it if we can? And is it being done?

From a historical stand-point. Even if you don't believe in the Bible and fully support the seperation of church and state (that is where I side, by the way), isn't it the same thing as censoring history to remove a part of an historical building that was there with its initial construction?

Simple solution should be to just not put them in any new court houses that are constructed, in my opinion.

God created mankind and gave them free will. Unfortunately we (Adam and Eve) rebelled. God gave commanments to show us how we should live and yet we still cannot obey Him. He created sin offerings that we may be at one with Him and still, man used this as an excuse to sin and be forgiven. God sent His beloved Son to teach us how to live, Jesus walked a pefect life always putting others first, just like we should. Have you ever thought about how this would impact the entire world? Jesus gave His life, so that all those who believe in Him would have eternal life. We are required to worship Him, He loves His children and yet so frequently we ignore Him. Our earthly Fathers don't expect this. I pray you will read this and trust Him, find a spirit filled church who's emphasis is in teaching the bible and living under it's authority. Does the smell indicate how healthy you are. I mean, if they stink really bad does it mean you have poor health. Lately, mine have smelled really bad, but I feel good.
