I've never heard anyone say, "She was born with schizophrenia," Is this a valid diagnosis, and perhaps only induced by some type of addiction, drug, or form of mental illness?

For some reason, I haven't really been feeling like getting out and socializing for the past month or two. And even when I do, I'm quiet and don't talk much (even though I'm generally pretty outgoing). I get so exhausted from going to school all week that during the weekends all I feel like doing is sitting at home and relaxing, but what I really want to do is get out and do things with my friends. How do I get myself into a happier mood, or have more energy to do things and have fun doing them?

Hey, I'm fifteen. Tonight I've got to babysit for one of my dad's friends (honestly i suspect it's because they want to go out and have sex as he's got no idea when he'll be back and she's slept over here twice). They're two semi-annoying girls (you know really attention desperate, and sorry, can't spell), three years old and seven years old. I'll be babysitting from eight until possibly three am. I've got around four years of expeirience, am very good with kids and am a certified babysitter by the red cross as of three years ago march. I also have three siblings girl-just turned 5, boy-6 since july, and girl-just turned 11. I haven't got any idea how much to charge, any ideas?

I'm 16 yrs. old and I have two older brothers...one of them is in med. school....and the other is ....well, joining the Navy...both of my parents are doctors and of course, they wanted us to somewhat follow in the medical field...they're pretty infuriated that my bro's joining the naval academy...and my mom's freaking out...i don't want my brother to go....not in a bad way..it's not like he may be drafted or anything...but he really loves the military? do you think we should prevent him from going or just let him pursue his "hopefully" desired dream?

I'm learning about different religions through the ages, and linking everything up to how it all started. Ive been reading a post from earlier regarding Mazzarot in the bible so I investigated.

Who knows more about this and why it links up with Christianity religion?

Hello vacuumland,
Next week I'm going to be up in front of the class again after being off on stress leave and other medical problems. I've been back at the daily salt mine for a month now and am quite comfortable with being back. However, I'm not looking forward to delivering my first lecture on Tuesday. BTW I teach technical subjects to adults.

Anyone out there in vacuumland have any words of incouragement or any coping stratiges, the one I was given for the first day back helped quite a lot.
