i have a detention thursday and im not going to go...well i get an iss thats what the handbook says but they dont really like me because we got a new assitant prinicpal and the second day he was there i got in trouble for being late like 6 times so can i get suspended

well your parents will be contacted and if your parents care they will get on your case about it. if you skip enough times yes they can suspend you. I would just go and get it out of the way.

Continue along this line of reasoning and you will probably get expelled. If you are of legal age, why not just quit school and allow students who want to learn to do so without interruptions and having to deal with your childish behavior? What is "like 6 times"? Is that 5 or 7?
