Define "holy land"?

Its a land which has seen so much of bloodshed in the name of God Himself. What do you call a place where people are killed mercilessly, families are destroyed and kids are made orphans, and it happens for centuries! Will you live at that place and what would you call that place!

Its a land which belongs to everyone, or none. So you decide if you think its holy or not. Holy place should make people of all kinds, happy and loveable.

I also want to see where Jesus was. When he said the temple would fall. well, evidence of the destruction is still there to see. It was Jesus' stomping grounds

At distinctive factors in time the full of Palestine became very almost thoroughly with out Jews. yet Jews nevertheless lived in Egypt, Babylon, Damascus and via the eastern and Western Empires. even though it wasn't pronounced as "Israel" it became pronounced as Palestine, at one time there have been 3 Palestinian states. for the time of Justinian reign, plague ravaged Palestine. below Heraclius Jews have been pushed and forbidden to stay in Palestine as punishment for helping the Persians in a rebel. maximum folk of them in basic terms switched over. @anvil, returned you're making it too ordinary- you declare that my fact "Jews have been forbidden to stay in in Jerusalem throughout the Byzantine era"Her generalization is incorrect .there have been sessions such because of the fact the era after Jerusalem became re occupied while Jews have been certainly barred from living of their historic Capital, resembling the Arab "Judenrein "era from 1948 till liberation in1967." enable's overlook the reality that Israel controlled the western a million/2 of Jerusalem from 1948 till 1967 I stated "AT distinctive factors in time the full of Palestine became very almost thoroughly with out Jews. "Jews have been pushed( ? out),maximum folk of them in basic terms switched over" unfaithful. Please study the 1st reference." is fake yet before on your very own fact, you declare "they banned The prepare of Judaism forced Baptism." Gee, i think you do no longer even have faith your self! and finally "4) Your declare that Eretz Yisrael became often utilized by applying the Byzentines as Palestine. i'm afraid your supplies are incorrect. The Crusaders have been the 1st invaders because of the fact the Romans to apply the term Palestine- parts1,2 and 3" guess you probably did no longer understand Byzantium became the Roman Empire, or eastern Empire to be extra precise. i won't be able to have faith you're truthfully attempting to declare Byzantium did no longer have a province (and at one time 3 PROVINCES) pronounced as "Palestine"!
