I think alot of people in america refer to it as 'regifting' - would you feel offended?

I wouldn't cos it saves the person money and they'd probably only give you something because when they recieved it they thought 'umm i won't really use this but X would like it'. I might be abit offended if it was something they knew really wasn't my taste tho - cos then it would show they weren't being thoughtful but its still more thoughtful than giving no gift!

We purchased a house built in 1975 with metal pipes. It has a lot of rust and minerals that comes out of the pipes when the plumbing system is idle for a number of days. We decided to install a water softener and now, we're regularly encountering leaks and busted lines. We're assuming that the calcium build up in the old pipes kept the corrosion plugged up. Now that the softened water is running through, it's removing the calcium and allowing water to escape through the corroded pipes. Is this what's happening? I thought the ion exchange could only happen at the WS unit itself.

Youre invited to this vip dinner at your bosses place. Your sitting around the table for dinner and sure enough a fart comes along. Trying to repress it does no good and KABLAM! The loudest and smelliest fart comes out just at the quietest pause in the conversation.

quickly you look around for somebody to blame it on but just when you think things couldnt get any worse a trickle of diarrea runs down your pant leg as well as your bosses expensive furniture.

Is there any way out of this one?

I HAVE BOTH OF MY WISDOM TEETH COMING IN ON THE SAME SIDE(TOP AND BOTTOM). I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW OF TO GET THE PAIN TP STOP. I HAVE USED AMBESOL, RINSED MY MOUTH OUT WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL, TAKEN ADVIL, TAKEN GODDY POWDERS. I HAVE EVEN TAKEN SOFT GEL GARLIC PILLS AND POPED THEM 0NTO MY TEETH. NOTHING IS HELPING. MY MOUTH IS SO SORE RIGHT NOW THAT I CANT EVEN OPEN IT ENOUGH TO EAT. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I've been bathing my kitten every other day and combing her several times daily with a metal flea comb to rid her of the fleas she had when I adopted her, but now she seems to have ear mites as well!! I've been cleaning her ears twice daily (GENTLY) with Q-Tips and baby oil, but I'm not sure if it's the right thing to be doing -- any suggestions??

The after life do u believe in heaven and hell, or reincarnation. I honestly don't know if i do. if i knew it existed i wouldn't of been able to post this question. How do u know that it just doesn't turn black when u die, nothing , no love, cold, warmth, nothing, nothing but nothingness. How do we know that this life isn't the only thing. i personally cannot accept this as the only thing in life. It's to hard to think that we are born to live this one life then when u die it's all over. How do we know were gonna be happy in the after life. How do we know it's all perfect and were gonna be happy. Heaven, my heaven would be on a beach with the person i love and be totally enwarped up in each other that nothing around us bothers us. Haveing someone to care about that would care about me back. It's to hard to accept this though, if god does exist then why would he put people threw this kind of personal hell i'm going threw, is this all worth it, could tylenol be a friend? HELP!!!?????????

My friend thinks so, but I'm not so sure. In our society it seems that movie stars desginate a higher value than even the wealthy or professional athletes. I don't even know if it would be probable for someone who isn't involved in Hollywood to be able to meet up with someone like Reese Witherspoon. Has a fan or average person ever married a movie star?

i have Guild Wars: Prophecies, and i love it, but i think that its time to upgrade, mainly because i want access to more classes, and lets face it...most of the prophecies elite skills are horrible. Our nearest star, Proxima Centuri, is 4.2 light years away. Judging from our present knowledge about what we know about the limits of space travel, and the sheer distances involved, it is extremely unlikely that Man will ever reach Proxima Centuri or beyond. It is simply too far away.

Also, if you believe we are alone in this Universe, then why was the Universe created so vast? It is like keeping a single Goldfish in the Atlantic.

I'd like to hear your thoughts.
