My friend thinks so, but I'm not so sure. In our society it seems that movie stars desginate a higher value than even the wealthy or professional athletes. I don't even know if it would be probable for someone who isn't involved in Hollywood to be able to meet up with someone like Reese Witherspoon. Has a fan or average person ever married a movie star?

I don't mean like an obsessive fan who freaks out when he/she see's the movie star. More like a middle class or somewhat wealthy person who isn't famous.

A fan like "OMG I love Tom Cruise and I'm going to have his babies"? Or just a regular, average person? Regular average people marry celebrities, sure. Those are the relationships you never hear about in the tabloids because they're not nearly as interesting; they're usually normal. I agree though; it would be hard to meet up with someone like that, and it would be hard to determine if his/her feelings were truly genuine or simply in love with dating a celebrity.
