We went up in the mountains in Colorado with my grandma's friends' dog. Her name was Mandy and she was a huge Newfoundland. I probably could've ridden on her. She even wore a pack and carried her treats, a bottle of water, and a portable water dish. My Grandpa carried a big blanket for us to sit on to eat lunch and cups for all us. My dad carried books and games to play up on the mountains. I carried extra jackets for all of us and my portable DVD player. My grandma's friends' carried toys for Mandy and water. My grandma carried the food and my mom walked Mandy. It was quite scenic and awesome. I just wondered if anyone else has taken a trip up mountains with a dog?

The phrase "life isn't fair" as far as I'm concerned is the biggest cop-out ever uttered by a human being. It's resignation to injustice and inequity. It's surrender to evil and maliciousness. I have a big problem with this sentiment.

The phrase is true. Life sucks. I'm not gonna whitewash it and pollyanna everything. It frankly SUCKS. And I'm not talking about just me, it's for everyone. If I'm given better opportunity and chance in life than someone else, that is wrong. Why be born into a world where you always lose? What's the point of life if you can never truly attain what's good in life? No one has a satisfactory answer for this.

Because it's wrong that one has a better opportunity in life than another based on The Creator's rigged scale of attributes, I always want to help make things better for others who didn't get a proper chance.
Life may not be fair but I'll be d@mned if I follow that. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

"Life isn't fair" Cop-out or not?

is it just coincidence that most people who don't believe in evolution also don't believe in global warming? I haven't seen statistics on this, it's just my own anecdotal observation. Has anyone else noticed?

Hello--I am searching for an expert in 19th century-era steam trains/cog rail to assist with a VERY intriguing project/article. Specifically, I need someone to identify an object associated within the train realm. I would prefer someone with verifiable credentials or associations within this field, and someone willing to use their real name and those credentials within a published article. Thanks.

I know this guy who is in the Navy and I've been e-mailing him (using his navy address) and he hasn't emailed me back. I finally spoke to him today and he said he couldn't use it because he got "a messed up e-mail". I didn't ask him what kind of email it was, but I meant to. I'm thinking something extremely sexual or maybe something regarding terrorism or attacking his ship. IDK. PLEASE HELP.

Do people know that more terrorism attacks were made and created bigger problems if combined overall when Clinton was president than Bush's 8 years in office? The Clinton campaign just chose not to act upon it and it eventually led to 9/11? And that the terrorist said that they will end all the terrorism if everyone accept Allah and convert to become Muslims? Why is it that political candidates are quite enthusiastic when they're explaining their plan about ending the war when they should be educating Americans about what's really going on giving us enough evidence and reason to create real opinions? I don't want subjective responses, so don't go off on what you think about Bush.

I bought a 2000 Nissan Altima GXE in August of 2006. The car fax report was clean. The odometer read 44k miles. Three weeks ago, my car wouldn't start. I took it to a mechanic who told me that the timing belt was shattered. He showed me the pieces that were scattered throughout the engine. The plastic guide was broken and the metal guide had been worn where the chain rested. The mechanic also expressed concern that there were "bearing shavings in the oil pan". He said that the timing chain should last the life of the motor. He then told me that he was almost positive that the car had more miles on it than it is showing. Does anyone know anything about this? I really do not know what to do about it. Thank you!

After installling the second harsddrive, th ecomputer will not fully reboot. I get the first screen, then the screen goes blank with a cursor blinking in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Can you please direct me to a website that will walk me through the process or proceedures that are required to successfully get the second hard drive initialized and upp and running. I think that I can complete the minor tweaking once everything else is established. I've tried c/net and pcworld, but for some reason I get the impression that I am beginning in the middle as opposed to the start .So can you pleeeeeze assist me in getting this done.
