Global warming isn't just about the planet getting warmer, there are many issues including the toxicity associated with what we do and how we react to global warming.

Go to http://www.thermoguy.com and scroll down to the picture of the fetus. Click and see a study on polluted babies.

How does a baby that has never taken a breath have banned pesticides, incinerated garbage, mercury from coal generated electrical, vehicle emissions, etc?

The chemicals are passed from mom because they are in our water, food and air. The worse part is the little guys don't have the immune system to protect themselves so it means cancers, autoimmune problems, etc. I have medical support that says a fetus will be in a 911 crisis from conception and that animals as well as humans have reproductive problems.

If I told you the toxicity ratio was 100%, what would you assume the future holds and what happens when a species can't reproduce anymore?

We're not going to die, but it's a serious problem.

Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.

It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

Really good website for more information here:

Lots of numerical scientific data proving it real here:

Proof that most scientists think it's real and mostly caused by us here:

2010?
Global Warming is a theoretical process, not an event. He just watches too much Al Gore.
Not one scientist has ever said a specific date as far as I know, so if someone did, it wasn't a climatologist. It was someone trying to create more alarmism in the media.

Global warming IS happening right now. It's not going to slap you in the face like a tornado but the weather patterns and season are changing rapidly. Soon we'll have extreme weather (from scorching hot to crispy cold). and people are going to point finger at each other, trying to find someone to blame. Oh, they are already pointing fingers.... never mind that....
