no. they harvest organs of criminals after they are legally executed. to me the only moral issue is they are essentially executing people for profit in a way. it may increase the rate of executions if it became super rampant. otherwise who cares the person is dead anyway and there is an organ shortage.

apparently they execute criminals/people the govt doesn't like (around the chinese new year) and corrupt officials sell the body parts.

reckon you need a dodgy doctor to cut out a heart, liver, lung or whatever you need and reinsert same into yourself - might cause a few questions if you pop in to your local hospital and ask them to cut out your heart and stick in this perfectly good one you found in the street.

sounds like back street abortions to me but i'm sure if the money is enough dodgy officials and doctors can be found and if the doctor does a botched job i doubt he/she offers a refund.

Keep in mind that "criminals" over there are not necessarily guilty of the crimes they are charged with. Their "justice" system is different.
