I have an african sulcada tortoise, and today we got a new one that came from a rescue shelter. My original one, Rex, is quite a bit bigger than the new one, Leo. Rex has been constantly humping Leo. Leo continues to walk, s/he doesn't stop and wait. Rex will stop for a minute, and then start circling Leo and sniffing her/him. Then he'll try again to get on Leo. We don't know if Leo is a male or female, but we are pretty sure that Rex is a boy. I don't know if Rex is trying to show dominance, or is trying to mate, or anything. We've had Rex for years now, and he's been living in our backyard for maybe about three or four years now. Rex has flipped over once from being on top of Leo, and Leo has also flipped over once from trying to climb Rex's head, and Rex charging him.
Does anyone know if tortoises will still try and mate even if they're both males? How long does it take for tortoises to be accomstomed to each other and get along? Were a little nervous for daytime cause no ones home

Change is defined as final minus initial, so if the pH drops upon mixing the change is negative.

The pH after adding an acid I know is going to be <7. I am just having trouble calculating it.

To be more specific... I'm currently in a relationship with the love of my life. I love him and know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. However we have different views on having a family. Having a family is important to me, I've always wanted a big family, and always wanted to start early. My love although wants a small family and wants it after his career has taken off (early - late thirties). Having a family early and large is something that I've always wanted. Now I know that things between the man I love wont work unless we agree, and we don't. I feel like I have to choose. Is this fair? What would you do? ADVICE please. Thankyou in advance.

I ussualey forget that death could be anytime. BUt sometimes on those sleepless nights I think that one day I'll be 6 ft under.
i think th ething that scares me most about death and th egrave is not just th epunishment. The fact that i have to face it alone in a dark grave. Sometime si cry because I hate being alone. But sometimes i think that Im going to go to jannah but then i dont really know. How bout if i go to hell.
i mean everyone has plans for th efuture. But they dont know wat will happen.
The question is wat can i do to stop being scared of death? i know its painful to die and leave all ur loved ones because even the prophet said truley death brings agony when he died. And he was th eRASUL!! SO how can we get over th efeeling of this world and think more of the here after? How can we be prepared for death whenever it comes. How can we be joyous of dieing and meeting our Lord?

Personally, I am almost adament that their is life out their and I believe it is only a matter of time before we find it. I read a report today about the discovery of a new solar system not unlike our own which could potentially support life. I think it is only a matter of advancement of technology and most likely I believe there will be a discovery of some kind of life before the century is up.
I would just like your views on the topic
p.s. I would like to add that when life is found the religious implications will be prevalent.
