I have been on nuvo ring for 4 months. I forgot to take it out a week ago, (so it's been in an extra week). I like the way my periods are lined up, so I was wondering if I could just skip my period and insert a new ring? Am I still protected eventhough it's been an extra week? Will I be protected by skipping my period?

She says that she read this somewhere but I can seem to find anything that can back this up. Can anyone provide a link to some information that either backs up this claim or refutes it? I started leaving out the fabric softener when I do the sheets and towels (yes, I do the laundry) and now the towels are coming out stiff as a board. Is fabric softeer really going to damage my sheets and/or towels?

Last year I could have had $800 for my tax refund, but because my parents could claim me as a dependent, I only got $350. This is not fair. They are costing me money! They continue to claim me (I'm 22 years old) and they seem not to care if it makes my return be less. Do they get more for claiming me? If they do, this makes them greedy, selfish parents! What about ME? LOL! I'm sick of it being all about THEM all the time. What's in it for me? Sigh...$tupid parents! TIRED!

I see it frequently in here the high oil prices are Bush's fault. To all of you that think it's Bush's fault, tell me how the President can do anything to change the price of oil? Can he write a presidential memo and make it go up or down? If he were to order all the troops out Iraq today whould that make the price go up or down? If he were to request Congress legislate the price of oil( how long would it take Congress to act anyway) would that have any effect?

If a Democrat were President would there be anything different and why?

Can US Government really do anything to effect the price of oil on the world market?

Since more women than men are born in America and more women graduate High School,apply for student loans and go on to college at higher rates than men do, plus the fact that women are always complaing about "Equal Rights" shouldn't they have to register for the selective service just like men do? I had a boyfriend &a male best friend. Male best friend had gf who I wasn't even friends with. My male best friend kept telling me he loved me&that we were soul mates. I always told him not to say it to me, as it was inappropriate. I broke up with my bf, my best friend's gf dumped him &2 months later me &my best friend slept together. My best friend told me he wanted to marry me etc. Then his ex gf found out, and went mental! My best friend told a lot of lies and basically ended up getting back with his ex, & she still doesn't know the whole truth. Thing is, his gf blamed ME! She said I manipulated him into sleeping with me, and into lying, and called me names even though SHE had broken up with HIM&I had always told him to shut up when he was inappropriate to me. PLUS my ex is still friends with my best friend (also his friend) but won't talk to me, even though I never cheated,&this other guy lied to him&he knows it! I didn't lie or cheat&get blamed.He did, but I end up losing out.Why?
