Will we become more like God?

We have but one reality, it is in this universe. An alternate eternal imbalanced reality does not exist, but does distract people, away from focusing on the problems of this reality. Our spirit leave this body often, when we sleep to go into the spiritual realm, and the spirit will leave this body at death, Both times it will return to a body. In sleep to the same body, after death to a fresh body. The reality of this universe is inescapable. God wants us to take on the challenges of this world and overcome them, and make for a better tomorrow. We have to learn to bring out the most in our selves, with God's guidance.

I don't think anyone can answer that. I don't know of anybody that has went to Heaven and telephoned back to give us the answers. The TV Preachers might be able to answer that. They seem to be able to talk to God on a Daily bases.

powers, that is an interesting play in words, we will always be powerless with out God in a life, but we will have a more excellent life, like when man dwelled in the garden of Eden, we will be restored and our sin will be healed, Jesus went away to prepare mansions for us. also the scriptures says that we do not know what we shall be, but we shall be like him. one last thing there is a scripture that makes reference, to the fact that mysteries will be revealed in the last day.

depending on what religion you are and of that which denomonation. MY understanding is that we will be all knowing as God is, except for Christ return date. We will be transformed into a perfect mind,body, and spirit.( sinless ) As for getting "powers" there really are not any you would need

Not equal but somewhat like God. Maybe we will each be given a universe to rule.

Jesus himself rose into the sky and became a god.
But we, being humans, will not do that. We will die here on earth... and through the eons of time, will be forgotten....

Great, so Jesus 'went away to prepare mansions for us'. Well thanks very much, but I would like to prepare any mansion I might get, myself. Somehow I think his and my decorating styles are not going to mesh.
