Although I'm female, my best friend at school was male. We were together for 7 years and we were so close. Once, he asked me to be his girlfriend but I loved him too much to risk losing him so I said no.

Anyway, that was 10 years ago. Now I haven't seen him for 10 years as we lost touch when I moved away. I recently found his myspace page and sent him a message asking 'how are you?'
His exact words were 'Who the Hell are you?' which is ridiculous because I have an unusual name and I know he knew who I was. I said, I'm (my name) and told him and I've heard nothing since.

Why would you blank an old friend like that? I refuse to contact him again. He's had his chance. I just feel hurt that our friendship obviously meant more to me than it did to him. It's been 6 weeks now and still no response.

I'm woman enough to let it go but it still hurts that someone I thought was a real friend actually doesn't even want to know me anymore

Long story short; while cleaning my tank one day I had to leave in the middle of it. My 50 gallon wasn't filled back up after siphoning for a few days and now there's calcium build up of the inside of the glass. I tried scrubbing it with an hand aquarium brush but its not working. It currently is an active tank so how can I get rid of without removing all my fish?

My period is now 2 months late. I have never been more than 2weeks late before. I have taken 2 at home tests, both negative.I keep thinking I will just start any day now, but I dont. Im definately going to the doctor this week to take a test there, but I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with false negative tests after such a long time. Ive heard of false negatives after a couple weeks, but a couple months?! I am married and very sexually active.I am having some symptoms I think I havent really had any morning sickness...do some women not have bad morning sickness? I do have occasional cramping and i feel like my stomach is expanding..I am peeing alot more often..but my boobs dont really hurt...they do feel a bit fuller though...I just dont know if all of this is only mental and i am reading into this. Also, could a hormonal imbalance lead to a false negative pregnancy test? I was diagnosed with having too much testosterone, but nothing too bad.

ok well, first comes first, my laptop is an Acer TravelMate 2420 series.
I used to have working internet ( wirless ) but now it jsut says it cant find wireless coneections, my dads laptops internet works perfect, but mine dont.
Also, i just got so fed up with it, i wanted to restore it back to systeme defaults with my backup disks it told me to make when i got it. Ive done it before, but now it wont work! it tells me to put in first dicsk. then it does its thing, tehn second, third fourth bla bla bla, but then when its done, it makes me do it all ver again! wth.
ok, and my last concern is that when i try to do jsut normal systeme restore ( to an earlier date ) it jsut dont work. :(

Please help me, im desperate!
I dont want to go and buy a new laptop!

P.S. im taking it to furture shop on sunday, but i need some before hand help. thanks

My aunt will be celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary in January 2008. In lieu of gifts, she's requesting invitees to make a donation to her favorite charities. My question is - do I make out my gift check in her name or do I put the organization's name on the check?

Oh the celebration will be in the Philippines and I'm here in the States (and won't be attending) so I'm sending my gift check either by mail or through a another relative who'll be attending said affair.

MY life has spun out of control. Im doing things i never saw myself doing. In the past i went to mental hospitals for suicide and cutting. Im now 18 and did well with not cutting for 8 months. Now my life is gone bad and worse then eveer before. im using drugs drinking and cutting. I want to stop and help myself, but have not been able to. i cant do this alone. a good friend suggested i got tot the hospital again and i think its a good idea. But now im 18 and not livign off my parents anymore. i cannot afford to go to the hospital. What should i do? Do hospitals have to take patients that are a danger to themselves even if they cannot pay the bills? how does that work. and no i dont have insurance and im not getting it any tiem soon.

When I first started lifting about 2 years ago I started off with a little protein powder but I kinda quit with it. Since then I have taken Creadrive, NoExplode, NoVapor, etc.

But some people are telling me to switch to protein. Now I am smart and I know they are like to different things completely. But which one would you recommend straight up if you had to choose? I want to gain muscle mass. I am almost 21, 6'1", 165 lbs. and I am athletic. I play tennis and run a lot.

Also, if I go to protein do you recommend just whey protein?

My 2yr and 8mos Bichon/Poodle suffered from MILD separation anxiety when he was young, he eventually grew out of it...UNTIL we moved to our new apt. We placed a baby gate on our hallway that leads to the front door because he will scratch and chew on the door and carpet. It gets so bad to the point where he got torn nails and now a superficial wound on his paws! He somehow was able to jump over the baby gate!
A vet mentioned Clomicalm and I was wondering if anyone used is or is using it and how is it working out for you?
