Most laptop manufacturer's only allow you to create Recovery Disks ONCE. Call Acer tech support.

this is not a effect of water harm, it does not activate in any respect if it became the water. this is a effect of abode windows being corrupted, that could take place once you close off a working laptop or laptop on an identical time as significant information are being loaded into the website document on the stressful force. All you could desire to do is to apply a abode windows vista disk to do a startup fix and it would probably be fantastic.

You might not like this answer, but I think your problem is Microsoft if you remove every thing Microsoft it will probably work a lot better. Try ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/ or fedora http://fedoraproject.org/. I think you will be better off. I don't think it is your hard ware. You can download a ubuntu boot disk and test it see how you like it run it off the CD and not even install it. good luck.
