Can I still get sick, I drink almost a gallon of water per day, take my vitamins, & wash my hands many times throughout the day, how can I still get sick? I work in an office, my co-worker said a mutual co-worker just got over the cold or flu or whatever, but I wash my hands all the time and all the water I drink wouldn’t that flush any germs out of my system? I work & go to school full-time I cant’ afford this right now, I mean I have the sick time to take but I have so much home work? Can I really be sick? I woke up w/ a sinus headache it went away on it’s own & now I feel like wishy washy like I spent all day in the pool & just got out. What could be wrong w/ me?

I had a dream last night; I was sitting a chair and a small snake slithered on the floor under my chair. I presumed it was a young snake. It was gold with collars, I think red, like a coral snake. I was afraid at first and wanted to strike in defense, but realizing it was a young snake, I let go by. Then a kitten came by. It was gold with stripes like a tabby cat. At fisrt te kitten was only playing with the snake. Then it started to get too rough. I thought the snake will bite the kitten if I don't intervine right now. I reached down, but before I could reach them, the little snake struck the kitten. The kitten began biting the snake. I reached in to pull them apart and got clawed by the cat and reoeatedly bitten by the snake. Only the fangs or claws never penetrated my skin. Wierd,vivid, and has bothered me alot. I have a lot of stress going on right now. I'm moving, annual performance evaluation, dental appointment, long distance family issues, too much to list. Input anyone?

I got married some months ago while i was in love with somebody else I really don't know how it happened. Today I stayed home from school because I have a sore throat. Both my parents said I felt a little warm but the thermometer said my temperature was normal, but i think i did have a fever cuz i didn't sleep well. I am extremely afraid of throwing up, but i know i won't throw up if i haven't eaten anything. So i'm afraid to eat because i'm afraid it will make me throw up. What should I do?

I'm reposting this from last night to have (hopefully) more people see it and respond.

I am doing research for my NaNoWriMo novel (details of the "write a novel in 30 days" concept at http://www.nanowrimo.org), and I have a main character who is going to be either Pentecostal or Southern Baptist.

I would greatly appreciate anything that anyone can tell me about these two denominations or point me to good online resources, and information from someone "on the inside" would be supremely helpful. I want to be sure that I portray the character's beliefs accurately and in a way that does justice to these faith traditions.

1.) There is a terrible curse that surrounds me, and befalls anyone who betrays me. So far, it has caused one divorce, three lost jobs, one failed business, a massive heart attack, and one child dying on the operating table during a routine tonsilectomy.

2.) Ever since I starred in the school play in 3rd grade, I have secretly dreamed of a career in show business.

3.) I was a virgin until the age of 22.

4.) I used to play "dress-up" with my sister in my mother's old clothes.

5.) As a small child, I believed that "Blankie", my security blanket, was alive -- he had a face, he could talk to me, and would play with my toys while I was away at preschool.
