How Long does it stay cold in L.A? How cold is cold?

Would you wear a sweatshirt andbe comfortable or would you need a big jacket? Could you wear a snow jacket and feel good or would that be too warm?

Temperatures are very moderate near the coast, throughout the entire year. Daytime temperatures in L.A. rarely dip below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, even in winter. So a snow jacket would be too much.

It stays really cold in LA for a few hours each winter. The rest of the time we just have fires and mudslides.
