I'm not denying that the Holocaust happened. But why was it that when I was a kid, we were told that Hitler killed 2 million Jews? Then it was 4 million, then 5, then 6, now 8 or even 10?

I'm debating on taking Bart to the Hanna Montana concert so I don't have to bother with driving in traffic and deal with parking but I am concerned with how far away the walk is and how well the lighting is around the walking area.I'm taking my 5 year old keep in mind and I know Oakland has a serious crime rate.Do they have extra security on the streets for these kind of events?

I was a nurse at a clinic for about 3 yrs from 1999-2002. The physician I worked for had a wife that called me at home one night and blabbed a bunch of their problems to me. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. Several months later, she accused me of having an "inappropriate" relationship with him which WAS NOT TRUE. I ended up getting fired for "insubordination" tho I never signed an incident report. I can't not put them on my resume' as it was a signifigant part of my employment with valueable skills. I found out from a potential employer that she had outright lied about me and my character, stating negligent nursing care, poor work ethic, etc. All damning charges in the healthcare field and they are not true. I was a very good employee there, loyal and hardworking. I have several other employers that give me great references but this one seems to be slandering me pretty viciously. Can she do this? What can I do to keep it from happening ?

I used to be kind of chunky, but then I lost about 20+ lbs. Now I pretty much eat what I want and I'm still slim.

How about you?

He's not physically abusive or cheating, but I'm not happy in our marriage. Anything I've done doesn't get through to him or just doesn't work. I'm not perfect either, but I'm Always the one compromising and he's always getting his way. I'm afraid I'm going to resent this and end up doing something drastic like cheating or something later on...

Kjelstad posted this to one of my questions...a point I have never considered. But, think it has merit...your thoughts?

"If you think being gay is a choice, you are gay. If you can think about rubbing balls with another dude and be excited about it and just think it is Satan tempting you, you are just a repressed gay. "

I'm searching for my wedding cake and I'm on a tight budget. The fondant cakes are so pretty compared to the buttercream but they're so much more money. Two bakeries I called tried to talk me out of them saying they taste bad, don't freeze, and get melt in the June NJ weather. Any insight would be helpful. Are they worth it or not?

Stay away, from the light,
This time, it will end tonight,
I hate the way i feel,
Take away the pain with steel,

Trying to hide this feeling,
They don't know how much I'm concealing,
My heart is broke; A new love i have lost,
The pain is unbearable, my eyes become glossed,

My tears fall hard crimson and dead,
I dare not look what lies ahead,
I feel the blood hot and thick,
I hit the floor and start to get sick,

I grip the note tight within my hand,
Please do not misunderstand,
I love you so much and i always will,
I will never forget the way you made me feel,

Keep me in you heart,
Don't remember the way we had to part,
Some day we will meet again,
But for now this is the end.

My husband and I planted tomato plants in the spring and we had a good harvest. What do I do now that the plants are rotting. Should I uproot them, cut them back or just leave them? I had them in those stand up cages but I've removed them. I'm not sure what I should do with the plants now. Will they help the soil if I leave them to rot? Would they seed for next season or would I have to replant with new?
