Counting the length L and the width d of an oblong square we find the following numbers:

d: 50.36 / 50.35 / 50.41 / 50.37 / 50.36 / 50.32 / 50.39 / 50.38 / 50.36 / 50.38

Measure the surface of the oblong square and the "mismeasure" with 2 ways:

a) From Li, di calculate δL and δd and S and δS.
b) From Li and di, calculate Si and then δS

Please help me with this, and I do not want just the answer, I want the whole solution as well so as to understand it.. Thanks in advance!

I bought a book "The War Against Men--Why Women are Winning and What men must do if America is to Survive." In just the first pages of the preface, I'm learning of some serious claims by the author that American men are under attack in nearly all areas of life and that women have made tremendous gains in the last 30 years. There's something about Feminism infiltrating the public school system. I can't wait to read on. What do you think? Is there a war against men in America and in the world?

Since everyone already knows the stance of religion on most things, I will (unbiasely) explain why some would want them replaced with, say, secularism.

1) Wars are being fought in the name of a God whom people aren't even sure exists. Sure, there will always be wars for power, greed, corruption - but those are wars that will always happen no matter what. It is human nature. But wars in the name of God? Completely unnecessary!

2) A lot of time is spent on wondering whether animals will go to heaven (this question was just asked on yahoo answers several moments ago). People spend too much time thinking about this God whom might not even exist. They have holidays and commemoration days for this God whom might not exist. They write books about this God whom might not exist. Anybody see a trend of unproductivity?

3) Teach their children to believe in a certain God, biasing the child's views for his/her entire life. Making them grow up secluded, with blind folds on their eyes.

Hey guys. In the past month or two, I've been having a lot of dreams about wrestling (WWE). I'm usually involved in it (like I'm a wrestler, I become a wrestler, last night I did some promo's, etc) and my dreams are always with real people/wrestlers. Yea, I'm a huge wrestling fan, but I'm not so obsessed that I dream about them every night. Also my dreams are usually unrealistic, but these are very realistic. I looked in a dream dictionary and it said this: To dream that you are wrestling, signifies that your are grappling with a problem in your personal or professional life. You are dealing with ideas and habits that need to be brought back into control.But this didn't help because I'm not ALWAYS wrestling when I dream about it, and I want the help of a real person. Also what kinds of ideas and habits do I need to bring back into control? Please help me, 10 points for the best answer.

Yes, a few years ago if I'd seen this question I would've thought "How sleazy! Waddya marry for?!" But now I'm in the sitch. I didn't marry for sex but hubby couldn't perform for 8 YEARS! Couldn't or wouldn't...So we've been apart for a year. I'm no longer attracted to him but thinks she should go back together, divorce is wrong and he seems so sad and pitiful. my '07 328XI came with all season runflats, but i'd prefer to have real snow tires on it for winter, but not have to dismount and re mount them with each change of season. i've found some 16" stock bmw rims from an '01 325 for sale at a reasonable price, but wonder if they can accept the tpm (tire pressure monitoring) valve stem? also, would the bolt pattern would be the same? and, is the offset of the rim the same? if these would work for me, it would save me quite a bit over a snow tire and rim package from the dealer or the local tire centers. if you could also post your qualifications to answer this question i would greatly appreciate that info, too. thanks to all of you in advance, car dude.

Democrats keep talking about "Global Warming Deniers", but I have never even seen one. I have only seen people questioning the extent to which human activity is contributing to Global Warming, people urging caution before Congress puts into law certain requirements that will cost companies billions upon billions of dollars, people questioning the extent to which Global Warming can be reversed. and people questioning the accuracy of Al Gore's predictions. Al Gore has predicted 20 foot rises in sea levels, but the most recent figures project about 14-24 INCHES, not feet.

So, in conslusion, where are these people who are denying Global Warming is even happening, because I have NEVER seen one.
