Chief Wahoo is viewed by some as very racist and derogatory toward American Indians.

With that in mind would you support the Cleveland Indians changing their mascot/logo

Okay, well I have this group of friends, and we go to school together and hang out and stuff, just normal stuff. The thing is, I don't really like hanging out with them that much, they're kind of boring. Plus, I sometimes feel excluded from the group. Sometimes I feel like maybe I should just ditch them, because I don't really need them, and I feel retarded when I have to dumb myself down and watch what I say to hang out with them. They are my friends, and they're nice enough.. what should I do?

According to many sources, it was painted with a bad method, napoleon's troops used it as target practice with rocks and bullets, many restoration projects and preservation methods damaged it further. Even one reference described that it was completely obliterated except for a little bit of Jesus's face.

How could such a painting be restored, to the original work? Or are we just looking at someone's interpretation of what it should have been?

I want to get married next year to my long-distance girl friend of 2 years. Money is an issue to me though. I always want more so that I'll have have enough to take cae of the finances. I figure that by next year... I'll have $50,000 saved up and a $10,000 car. I have two more years of school but afterwards I will be a graduate and plan to be a RN. I wont ever be a millionaire, but I think I'll have enough enough to provide for my wife and children without having much saved up at the ned of my life. Is that ok to live with.. or should I strive to have a ton of money saved up (wait longer until I get married) so that I can leave my family with a lot by the time I die. Thanks.

A teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer arive at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter has a set of questions each to test them to qualify for entry.
The first is for the teacher. He is asked what is the name of the ship that crashed into an iceberg in 1912. He is allowed in with the correct answer "The Titanic".
St. Peter then decides that the garbage collector smells to bad, but decides to test him with the correct answer to the next question any ways. The garbage collector is asked how many lives were lost on the ship, and lets him in with the correct answer, "1,228"
St. Peter then turns to the lawyer and says "Name them all"

I want my dad to have a job, but the only problem is he speaks only little English and understand some of it. He is very talent in math and physics. He has a lot of experiences of shoe designing. He worked in Nick, Adida, and Reebok company in China. I see him everyday saying that he can not find any jobs that match with him. Either English or college degree problem causes the unemployment. I wonder if you can help him to find a job that related with design of shoes, belt, etc. ( He is extremely well in this, math, and physics) I am very curious if he can be a math or physics teacher. What are the requirement. Maybe he should go to a two-year college and pass the teacher-certificate exam? Please help me!!!!!

Fertility
Written by Semper Fi Reborn

Her name was Fertility,
And she was with child.
Having been blessed by God,
With a smile,
So wonderous and luminous,
Radiance like the sun.
Wear shades when you look,
Or retinas may scorch,
And shrivel blowing hastily away,
In the winds of change.
For change is in her.
She is with child ,
Remember?
She has a planet to populate.
The water in her belly,
Does surely irrigate,
The growing fetus.
How God completes us.
She will soon be ripe enough,
To bring forth the fruits of her labor,
While in labor,
She cries out in contraction,
After contraction,
After contraction.
Then a small cry is the result of this action.
She is now a Mother, a Mommy, a Hey Ma!
Look see!
She is not only Fertility!
She is now Tranquility!

i mean, after they send in the play.........can they keep talking ??
like "look out, there's a guy comin' at from the left" or " throw it to # 89, he's free", or "are ya o.k. ? do you wanna time-out"??
or ( i hate to even think of this one), " the word came down.....you gotta throw this game!"
OR, is there someone listening to the conversations, and cuts them off if they get into illegal areas. (maybe that's what "official time-outs" are all about)??
OR, com'on give me some answers.

I know that dramamine is a bit more intense then coricidin (DXM)
but i would like to know who thinks which is more fun, or safe.
dramamine is more of a trip than acid, and coricidin is kind of like a weird messed up state.

dramamine is a motion sickness pill, and coricidin is a cough suppressant

I’m asking this question to see if believers understand what they believe. It is not meant to be offensive.

The second best argument I've ever encountered for a belief in some kind of God, is "personal experience." That is, someone will claim to have met or talked to God, or felt something like the Holy Spirit.

MY QUESTION IS do you as a believer understand the COUNTER-argument for this one? In other words, what is the counter-argument for this that non-believers will site?

Please tell me the counter argument (you may rebut the counter argument if you like but I’m more interested to see if you understand the non-believer position).

If no one puts up a good answer, I will. So please check back.

If you wish to see what I thought was the “best argument” was you may refer to my previous question:

For more than 2 yrs now i have been trying to get over my ex & broken heart.I feel like there is no hope at all.I feel like i will never be happy again & i will aways be alone.I can not even talk to another woman because it reminds me of her & how much i miss her.I would still do anything to get her back. There is not a momment that goes by where i do not think of her.Everyday it gets worse.I know love is a bad feeling to have. But i have love. Why cann't i get over her?Is it a bad thing to love a woman more than life? Everyone says see a doctor.Well i have no health insurance.I also know that drugs will not help me.Because i will still be alone & tourmented by my ex. So how can i find hope for happiness & be with a woman to love?I am a guy who has hate in my heart for god.So don't tell me that god can help me.God helps the evil people & hurts the good people like me.So again. How can i find hope without paying money to some heartless person who just cares about the money?

there are some groups who believe in equal parenting (despite history of DV), false allegations of rape and DV and punishment of women (although men also make false claims against women); attack DV services (that would also help men).

Do they seek equality with a vengeance?

xyonline:

The fathers’ rights movement will continue to seek an equality concerned with fathers’ ‘rights’ and status rather than the actual care of children (Rhoades, p. 156). The fathers’ rights movement will continue to pursue ‘equality with a vengeance’ (Rhoades, 2000, p. 155). It prioritises formal principles of equality over positive parenting and the well-being of women and children, conflates children’s welfare with parental equality and ignores actual caregiving divisions of labour. Its advocates will persist in trying to re-establish paternal authority and fathers’ decision-making related to their children’s and ex-partners’ lives (Bertoia & Drakich, 1993; Cornell, 1998,; Stacey, 1998,
