Fertility
Written by Semper Fi Reborn

Her name was Fertility,
And she was with child.
Having been blessed by God,
With a smile,
So wonderous and luminous,
Radiance like the sun.
Wear shades when you look,
Or retinas may scorch,
And shrivel blowing hastily away,
In the winds of change.
For change is in her.
She is with child ,
Remember?
She has a planet to populate.
The water in her belly,
Does surely irrigate,
The growing fetus.
How God completes us.
She will soon be ripe enough,
To bring forth the fruits of her labor,
While in labor,
She cries out in contraction,
After contraction,
After contraction.
Then a small cry is the result of this action.
She is now a Mother, a Mommy, a Hey Ma!
Look see!
She is not only Fertility!
She is now Tranquility!

Some people aren't capable of looking beyond words to capture the true meaning of something. How unfortunate for them. I really liked it :D

It's interesting, And Pretty Well-Written.

But "Wear shades when you look,
Or retinas may scorch,"
Kind of made me cringe, If It's possible to change that...?

Other than that, Good poem :]

It's quite a few contractions short....LOL!!......but seriously, it's a lovely poem. I'm going to e-mail it to my daughter, who recently gave birth to my first grandchild. (((Semper Fi)))

Sorry, this doesn't do it for me. Frankly, it sounds stupid and doesn't go anywhere. 1/5
