Why do physicists continue to pursue answers to sigma when if you use Eeinstiens theories and equations rather than the outdated Newtonian gravitational equations, there is no need for Dark Matter ot explain sigma at all.

I try REALLY hard to trust in God, but I am so worried about what He wants me to do with my life that Im not really trusting in Him. I'm so worried about what I do to take the steps to get there (and i have no idea where 'there' is) that Im not just letting it happen. I dont know how to just let it happen. I'm taking on the actions, like 'I have to figure out what God wants of me and I have to make it work' and thats not trusting in God.

Suggestions?

My best friend has been acting really strange lately.. everyone is noticing it.. she keeps to herself, says she feels sick, avoids her old friends/family, doesnt bother to have friendships with anyone anymore... giving up?? is this a sign shes into drugs? she used to do them last year and i have a feeling she could be back into it again...

This morning my 6 month old started doing something crazy!!! When I give her solid food she stickes her toungh out and her food spillsout of her mouth!!! She use to do something like this when she first started eating solids, but she has been a pro at eating for over 2 months now.. is this a faze??? Did your baby do this??? we started intorducing some table food to her a few days ago and she did pretty good with it.. could that be what is making her do this???

I want to learn how to do this both as a group facilitator of a meetup group on dating, relationships, and marriage; and as a participant in a group for people, such as myself, who coming to terms with largely childhood or relationship abuse issues. I think support groups are great, but I do still feel wounded and triggered by certain group members who are in the process of learning new behaviors and releasing inappropriate behaviors--e.g. controlling, caretaking, bullying, teasing, coming on to you sexually, etc.

Not like I'm this perfect person, but I want to learn how to be in a group with inappropriate people, just as I must learn to do this in the world--and not always resort to cutting people off or not getting my own needs met by leaving the group. In the past I've called it "voting with my feet." Any suggestions would be greatly welcome. I have a meeting this afternoon, and my meetup group starts in Dec. Can't keep walking away or putting up walls. NYC is lonely en..

My boyfriend has just recently admited to having a gay experience with another couple, before we got it together. It was a married couple, although the man was bisexual. He said that he only gave the guy a BJ and visa versa but he didn't go any further. He said it was wrong for him and was just curious and now totally regrets it. He said that there were no kissing involved and that he never went all the way, he was more interested in the girl than the bloke. Could he be in denial?

My cat is long haired. He has these black dots and a few fleas on his back. I put a flea and tick remover spray on him, and the black dots are gone BUT, now there are red spots on his back and it looks like it's hurting him! He also keeps drooling. I'm having problems trying to figure out what would be considered a first class criteria for essays, degrees, exam answers etc.
They say something like 'extensive argument' etc. on their marking criteria but all that does is allow it to be vague and very subjective. There are no examples to follow or books (generally) to follow up against.
Saying things like 'each essay is marked based on its own merits', won't actually help very much.
I'm not saying students should have something to copy from or say XYZ are the perfect answers for a top mark assignment but it does help if we had something to work with e.g. Lett's exam guides for A Level where they have C and A grade answers so the individual knows what to expect and what to look for.
Also where would you look for examples to back up your answers? Newspaper and magazine articles are brief in detail and are definitely not comprehensive enough to give a standard answer proper merits of an extensive argument.
