Lola! When I was a preschool teacher my children had a hard time saying my name (Mrs. Laurel), so one little boy started calling me "Mrs. Alaura" which turned into "Mrs. Alola" and then "Mrs. Lola!" Dora The Explorer had just came out, so the whole Dora, Lora sound was the same!
It got to the point where parents were sending me Christmas cards with "Lola" on the front! I miss my kids, but now I'm a stay at home mother and LOVE it!

There was a little boy in my class from Russia named Igor. The kids had a hard time pronouncing it, so they started calling him Eeyore (like Winnie The Pooh)! Good thing the little boy and his family didn't know who Eeyore was... but I'm sure they will soon find out!

Some of my school friends used to call me "Eeyore"....but I think it has been many years since anyone ever called me that. I can't think of any other nicknames I have had.
