In my opinion i think that these fires could have been controlled or at least put out...but i think that the san diego county officials are too cheap to pay for extra helicopters to put out the fires...but thats just my opinion...wat do u guyz think??

How Bad does the Air quality have to be to shut down schools in Southern California?

Ok i live in a City called Rancho Cucamonga. It is close to Fontana and in San Bernardino county. Right now at night there are ashes coming down and in our backyard it is black. And our school has not called us telling us that they are closed? And plus this is a High-School so their professional.
How bad does it have to get to shut down school?

I personnally think so. I believe in pre-employment drug testing and post accidental testing, but not random testing. I think it leaves way for discriminating, unfair way to get rid of an employee in an too many employess sitituation.

I've been trying to incorporate more fresh vegetables into my diet, such as broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and green leafy salad mixes...however, it's really kinda plain eating them straight up, I was wondering if you could share with me any ways to make them tastier? I make my own italian dressing for the salad, but as far as eating the other veggies, what can I do to them or eat them with? I used to dip them in a ranch dip, but that's not too healthy.

Also, any other simple ideas of preparing vegetables would be great too, so I can have them as sides for dinner. I like cooking vegetables but doesn't that get rid of a lot of the nutrients in them? Just give me your favorite ways to eat/prepare vegetables, thanks.

Ok..There is this guy he is very cute...Latley I have noticed he is always staring at me...anytime I look at him he is looking at me....then he looks away.....in science class he sits by me...he turns and pretends he is looking at his arm but i see him looking at me...The other day in history we were learning something and they had to vote out a girl..he called on me
But he has never talked to me....he looks so scared


So today I was like thats it i am going to talk to ths boy...so i tryed to he was there with his sister and he was like we have to go and ran off
So I went up to his friends and was like why want he talk to me his freinds said he does not want too

Then I talked to my freind who has been freinds with him a very long time..she says he is very shy around girls

They were comparing San Diego residents and New Orleans residents staying in the stadium with cots etc and mentioned that these people are much more thankful in comparison to the Louisiana residents.........

I want to look toned in a months time, as in want a flatter stomach and sleek muscular legs. Would I see noticeable results? Anybody with good experience? Whats your advice in terms of eating and excercise?

have you ever heard of an HR rep telling someone not to ask for more money because they dont want to look greedy? I am transfering with my company and my wife is applying for a job with the same company in the new location. She is very much over qualified for the job that she is applying for and they are offering her way below what she deserves, $14 dollars an hour. She asked for $15 an hour, which is still way below what she should be making, and the HR rep advised her that she shouldnt ask for more because she did not want to look greedy. is this the most retarded thing you have ever heard or is this a common practice?

I have trouble perceiving torques. We can feel the linear force because when someone pushes us we tend to fall into that direction and then we yell at that person :). However I wanted to know if I were to feel a torque how would that compare? So far my perception of a torque is just numbers and symbols.
