I would bake the cupcakes tomorrow and put them in the fridge & wait to frost them. The frosting can get runny.

Bake Wed., freeze in freezer bags, take out of freezer on Friday and frost at the party, get there a little early. Or bake and frost and freeze with no wrapping until frosting is hard, then wrap and take to party on Friday. They thaw in no time.

Let them rest and cool down before frosting and cover with plastic wrap (use toothpicks to keep the wrap from touching the frosting)

If at all possible, frost at the last minute. Fridge will make them hard (cupcake and frosting)

Frig! It will help keep them moist. Cake bakers always put there hot baked cakes directly in the freezer for that reason too. Then they ice them while they are frozen so when they thaw the moistness is locked in. Makes since I guess......

i would put them in the fridge. this way the icing does get runny. i mean he worst thing would be to show up at the party with runny cupcakes. it is always good o be on the safe side!!

Fridge will dry them out, not keep them moist. Think about where cakes and pastries are kept in the bakery!
