Is it stupid that I don't know what some of these terms mean? My two friends were over here one time and they were joking about girls and using slang (which I won't repeat on here) that involved sexual references, and when I told them I didn't know what some of these terms were supposed to mean, they laughed at me. They also said a girl would think I was a geek for not knowing.

I mean, I guess my sense of humor is more G-rated than theirs. I don't like to joke around about things like that. Do girls think it's stupid if a guy doesn't know every sexual slang term in the book?

Hello, I am considering applying to grad school and most of them have said that, in addition to a good GRE score, they also recommend a good GPA for the last two years of your undergraduate studies. Why do they do this? Do they also consider your earlier years? Do the last two years make much more of an impact than your earlier years?

The reason I ask is that my first year in college wasn't that great. If I improve in my upper-level classes, will I still have a chance for graduate school?

I took it from the charger this morning, it was fulling charged. I was using it on the way to school, and it worked fine. But we had a lot of free time in my first class, so I took it out of my pocket to use it, and it wouldn't turn on. It was working fine an hour before that, it wasn't put on hold, I didn't damage it, and it was mostly charged.

Help me, please?

I learned today that my cholesterol is slightly elevated (217). The nurse said to exercise and eat well. How much cholesterol is acceptable daily in a diet if you are trying to lower your cholesterol? I know that Cheerios and oatmeal are supposed to help lower it, are there any other foods or tricks that work?

I carved a Pumpkin two days ago (Sunday) and I put all the cleaned off seeds in a little tupperware box and I went to cook them today and some of them had a white stem like thing growing out of them. I tried to pick out the ones that didnt have that growing out of them, I also just ripped it off some of them. Are they too old to cook and eat? Or is it Ok?

But I can't find any info on it! Of course, I don;t imagine it will only be so close for a single day, but I heard on the news that on this full moon the moon will be closer to the earth that it has been is many many...well, moons. It seems almost like the people in the Gulf Coast's hurricane Katrina were not considered to be as important as those in southern California's fires. Don't get me wrong, I am very glad the response is much better. But when all is said and done, we all come into this world naked and leave with nothing (except what we have done or not done)! Can a misanthrope ever be happy with or without the physical company of other people? my 22 month old child goes to a daycare where his grandma works and her best friend owns. Today after lunch my childs grandma (also an employee) was cleaning him off, he was standing on the highchair when she was brusing crumbs off of him. He stepped off the side of the highchair and she grabbed him. When I got to the center everyone working there wanted to show me his "owies" He has a very big red rug burn type mark that goes all the way around the back of the his neck. I talked to owner of daycare about this and said he was grabbed by the arm and leg upside down. She must have grabbed the bib a little too. I asked why i was never notified and owner said well his grandma was there and your a little hard to get a hold of also that it was not a significant enough injury to call me. This daycare has called me for him having a diaper rash. They should have let me known it was his neck. He was evaluated at the er, doc said it was a signigicant burn. Should they have called me is it neglec

in your opinion is it inappropriate for me to invite my 14 year old sister into the delivery room, we have always been really close like best friends and she is really mature for her age. her mom recently passed away from cancer which ultimatly made us closer. (we have the same dad) she is my only sister. i just want everyones input and honest opinion,do you think that is too young?
