As they say, there are only two things you HAVE to do:
1) pay taxes
2) die.
We don't even have a furnace...we have electric heaters in each room, which can be turned on/off, adjusted to fill the needs of the room.
But, yes, we have turned on the heat, about a week ago, and it was 60 degrees F this morning in the house.

It's not Nov yet! You can't turn on the heat before Nov. 1!
Put on a jacket. Wear your flannels. Of course you're cold - you're not wearing socks. And a sweater wouldn't hurt. If your cold, I can find something for you to do to work up a sweat - ya know, the leaves need to be raked...

Oh man I wish! I live in Titusville, FL. and it was 92 today! I could have went to the freakin' beach! I wish it was a high of 70. That would even be great!

Yes, for several weeks now we have been using our fireplace. It has already gotten to 18 deg F overnight. Most nights are around 30 deg already.

i have once it was 30 and 40 for 3 days. turned it on for maybe 15 minutes.

yes. the weather was pretty cold for socal a couple weeks ago and now it was 97 again today! its crazy! this weather is psyco! and whith the fires? JEESH what is the weatherman trying to do to us?
