I personally think that it is much too feminine. I realize that it is a trend but ask yourself; if I had a 3 month or a 1 year old son would I put pink on him? Probably not? Why? What do you think

What are druid rituals? I saw the movie Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour, and this guy named David did this druid ritual with skull-shaped turnips with candles in them. Kind of like mini jack-o-lanterns. But David found out that he was going to be killed on his 21st b-day. so a lady called him and said for him to do the ritual, and he loooked it up in a book, and saw that you had to carve fifty turnips into the shape of a skull with little tea candles in them. and for the person to be safe from a spirit, to sit in the circle of fifty turnips, and they were to wear a mask to confuse the spirit. But i am confused saying as many other druid rituals may be different from the one i am talking about. But do they actually work?

My sister-in-law had an account that went to collections in 2004. She fought and debated with them for 3 years, now they're threatening to put it on her credit. I told her that they may show the original 2004 collection date instead of showing it as a new collection. She's concerned that it will show as a new collection instead of one that's already 3 years old. She says the statue of limitations is 5 years in her state, so she's thinking that if they show the 2004 date (when it was originally placed for collection), that she'll have a better chance of it being off sooner. I may have given her incorrect information. Anyone have any input? Thanks.

"After unceremoniously removing all of its Christmas trees in the middle of the night last year, the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport this season will dispense with any religious symbols and just celebrate "winter."

Hmm, so why is it that the so called "secular progressives" (They're really secular oppresives) can attack Christmas, but not attack the Muslim foot baths?

This just goes to show you that there is a war on Christianity. (Funded and supported by the liberals such as the Aclu F.Y.I.)

Realizing, of course, that it is best to limit fried/fast food completely, which is worse for your body: if I was to eat 4x a week but stick with a small burger and fries (burger sat 6, trans 0.5; fries sat fat 4, trans 1) or just to eat once a week but get fries, onion rings, and fried chicken (fries sat 16, trans 6; onion rings sat 4.5, trans 4; fried chicken sat 4.5, trans 3).

In this example, I would end up with more saturated fat (40 vs 25) but less trans fat (6 vs 13) by eating fast food MORE often.

So, essentially, my question is: what is it that makes fast food so undesirable? Is it the amounts of times you eat there, or the amount of bad fat that you ingest per visit, that is the real problem?

We ask for a collective belief and agreement among all Christians and cannot get one.
Explanation of the trinity. Many different Christians have a variety of beliefs on the trinity.
Cannot seem to get a full agreement on the flood, creation, the description of hell, the validity of speaking in tongues, the prophecies of tribulation, the rapture, and many more things.

Christians, if you cannot agree among yourselves on your own bible and religious beliefs, why do you expect anyone else to buy into it?

Which beliefs are we supposed to pick? Why these over others?

It all seems to come down to what sounds best to me personally. I guess I'm just supposed to grab a bible and cherry-pick which beliefs I want for me. If I am supposed to pray and let your god guide me to the truth, what about all the other Christians who have done the same and have been guided to differing truths?

...would you please keep me and my city in your thoughts and prayers? I live in San Diego, CA and if you've been watching the national news you know that there are mutiple wild fires surrounding the county. As I walked outside at about 7:00 this morning I could smell the smoke and realized the skies had/have been polluted with it as well. Numerous schools and businesses have been closed for the day, my store/office included. My town hasn't been given evacuation orders yet as the fires are further East. However, there are Santa Anna winds that are making it extremely difficult for fire fighters to contain the fires. Futhermore, the winds have carried the fires into other areas in San Diego. Basically I'm just asking for you to keep me and other residents of San Diego in your thoughts and prayers. I have the news on and am just waiting to see if I need to pack up and leave. I pray it doesn't come to that, but you never know. Thanks everyone!

I'm looking to study or work abroad in a few years and am in the process of figuring out where I want to go. Initially it was going to be Germany, because I love everything about the country and language and am fairly proficient in German, looking to improve greatly.

However, I am also interested in learning French. And so I was wondering, is there anywhere I can go where I can improve my French (after having learned the basics beforehand) while at the same time being able to improve German? I know that 2 of the 4 official languages of Switzerland are German and French. So I have a few concerns.

1. I'm learning "high German" or hochdeutsch, is this spoken in Switz. or is it mostly dialects?
2. Same thing with french, but I don't know the proper term for the official language one would learn in school.
3. Is there anywhere in Switzerland (or any other country, for that matter) where both are spoken fairly commonly?

Thanks
