question; i have been waiting for 2 and a-half years for an answer from social securityi was turned down 3 times befor i got an attorney then 6 months ago they sent me a function report to fill out i have undergone surgery on my brain/neck and now i'am in constant pain and a lot of milaties i also am seeing a mental doctor is the function report a good sign to go by? i'am 34 years old

is getting disability and it took a LONG time

their doctor has to check you out first and the review can last 6 months or more

but note, in the time you HAVE appiled and is proven true that you are disabled they HAVE to pay you for those months missed.

I know a lot of people who are in pain and have a lot of health problems but are still working.
Perhaps they aren't convinced you are disabled.
