I'm no Hillary fan, but from what I understood Socks was Chelsea's cat! When the Clinton's left office Chelsea was away at school and couldn't take the cat. So Betty Curry offered to take Socks.
The cat has nothing to do with politics! Or image!
If Socks is still alive he'd be a very elderly cat by now.

wow did she really do that...I would never vote for someone who failed to be responsible for their pet all its life, let alone talk to them. If anything it shows she quits on things that arent doing well, or on older stuff which holds her back going forward. But then again she didn't quit on Bill, so what does that tell us she has no respect for animals? or perhaps that Bill is more influential than socks.
