Sometimes, when the temperature is 120 degrees in Surprise, I have some not so nice things to say about Arizona. The world here is 50% blue. Not very many trees and most of the houses are one story. The mountains are only about 2000 feet high and the cacti are sparse. So, when I look up, the world is blue. When I look down, it is a tannish brown. Well, this week, my wife and I went to Nevada City, California, and the mountains were RIGHT THERE. The trees were orange, red and green, and very tall, some of the pines were 150 feet tall. The mist in the mountains was right in my face and it was cold. It rained the whole week. Now, I love rain. And I love trees. And I love the misty mountains. But, when I looked up, it was mostly green because of all the trees. And when I looked down, it was dark brown and red and orange with all the leaves on the ground. When I got back to Arizona, I really thanked MY lucky stars that I live in a world that is 50% blue. Do you feel that way about your home?
