I have to create a webpage using Dreamweaver but prefer to use Frontpage. I'm wondering if my professor will be able to tell from looking at the code or something like that.

yes, if you View-Source a website and look between the tags you can see these:

for Frontpage:

for DreamWeaver: you can only tell if its dreamweaver when it the document is a DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional

Frontpage usually includes a META tag that details that kind of information. You can find META tags in the section of a document.

Other than that, just read through the (X)HTML and you should be fine. Otherwise... why are you using these programs or taking these classes if you don't understand Hypertext Markup Language?

Unfortunately yeah! All your professor would have to do is go to View and the View Source and if he/she was well versed in html document codes then you'll be found out.

(I prefer Frontpage too...to me, it seems easier to maneuver around.)

For someone who knows HTML coding, yes, both programs has their way of generating HTML in the own ways
