I hate the question of tipping, because the whole idea of us having to tip the person giving us service, while were already paying an arm and a leg for the service, food, etc. Its a bit rediculous,if you do tip them, you should give what you feel is right. There shouldn't be a wrong or right. Its pretty rediculous that if you can't afford to tip a waiter you shouldn't go out to dinner. When your already paying such high prices for dinner or a service, why should you have to pay most of the servers salary. So the big business can make more money?Think about it,its just not right, but its the society we live in.And most likely the whole idea of tipping was a restaraunt owners idea of cutting back employee costs and upping revenues.

Find the savings elsewhere and give those hard working driers the $5.00. Drop a cable pay channel or a magazine subscription or a visit to an eatery or some other unnecessary luxury. The driers are use to the $5.00 For them it's always a tough economy. You won't come off looking thrifty to them when they've done a good job. You'll be messing with their expectations.

depends if he did a good job and if the car wash was expensive but 2-3 bucks should do the trick.

Do you tip everybody in your life? Kids are now telling their parents to tip them for making their bed, going to school, etc.

Don't fall for this tipping nonsense. It's out of control.
