I live in my landlords house and I rent her room. She is 53 (and attractive), I am 26. I notice when I talk to her she licks her lips when we make eye contact. And she looked at my pakage the other day when I was standing up talking to her and she was sitting down in front of me. I am attracted to her and I am the only person who lives with her. I don't think she's been with anyone in the last two years. Her husband died two years ago of a heart attack. I'm thinking of making a move on her but I feel awkward. I am attracted to her and want to....do stuff with her...but like I said...it's weird. What should I do??

Im realizeing, I have friends, family that I rarely see but I do see... I feel like everytime I say something I get cut off and since Im so scared to be rude I just stop what Im saying and never get a word in other that "oh yeah" or asking them a question about what they just said. Do I just have nothing interesting to say or what? How do I let them see that I have something to say too?

Okay I am an officer(senior Lt in command of a platoon of dismounted infantry) in a armed force that is not American. (just a heads up as this is site is mostly covered by Americans) Anyways, I want to know why my NCO's are all so dumb, and how I can perhaps fix it.

Most of them have problems with simple formal logic and mathematics. Most them have a difficult time reading a battle plan map, and require me to give them instructors along the line of "1 section, move up 2 by 2 to that corner and hold it until 2 section secures that roof top, then move 2 by 2 to the small house here" they can not just read my map/plans and understand, they must ask me to explain in detail.

Finally, many of them seem to think that Drill and Uniform sharpness is more importent then combat skills. I have no idea why.

Why question is, why are these men so short on mental skills.

How to improve these men, so I can count on them ?

Here was my test: If you post on their blogs that Bush is a chimp and the world hates America and we should let illegals have free health care, and Christians are all crazy, then they allow it. If you post that you believe in Jesus and that you think marriage should remain traditional and you think we should guard our borders, they DELETE IT. They have these monitors who are liberal nutcases, who obviously are doing what they're told to do, and it misrepresents the opinions of Americans on their blogs (so-called).
I don't think ABC deserves the term "American" in their title!

My fudamentalist friend doesnt believe in birth control. Her and her husband had 5 kids and a 6th one on the way. Thats cool for them...But really, do you think if they have say 12, 16, 18 kids, they might change their mind? I mean, they are missionaries! They cant afford the kids they have already!

I have always loved reading about Buddhism and learned a little bit about meditation in Eastern Philosophy in High School. But I would love to get some books or websites that truely explian things about meditation and beoming a Buddhist to someone whose really interested in learing and becoming part of this religion. It just started 2 days ago, and I have no idea what types of things may cause it. I don't know if this matters, but I broke that leg, and tore a ligament in it, in either 1999 or 2000. Also, I never did go and get the cast. I just used that plastic and Velcro temporary thing they gave me and the crutches, and never went back because I have a nearly psychotic fear of seeing doctors, which should also explain why I'm asking here. Thanks, in advance, for your answers :)

couple of messages. One says, "Unsupported Media Type," (what does that mean?)...and when I try to put "songs" from my library unto the MP3 Player it says: "The Disk Cannot Be Written To Because It Is "Write" Protected. Please Remove The Write Protection From The Volume drive F:" OK. How do I do that??? I know that my "Flair" MP3 Player will work on my system because I have TWO of them the same and the other one works just fine. (Loading and Unloading Songs to It that is.) HELP PLEASE!!!
