I live in my landlords house and I rent her room. She is 53 (and attractive), I am 26. I notice when I talk to her she licks her lips when we make eye contact. And she looked at my pakage the other day when I was standing up talking to her and she was sitting down in front of me. I am attracted to her and I am the only person who lives with her. I don't think she's been with anyone in the last two years. Her husband died two years ago of a heart attack. I'm thinking of making a move on her but I feel awkward. I am attracted to her and want to....do stuff with her...but like I said...it's weird. What should I do??

53 and 26 is a big age difference....you are in different stages of life and I don't think it would work as a long term thing maybe a short term thing? You do live with her which can make it even more of a difficult thing to do. If something bad happens make sure you have a place to live, or if it turns into a good thing you could possibly live rent free. :) Just think before you act because it can lead to bad consequences.

There is a fine line between feeling attracted, which is your sexual instinct and later developing emotional feeling for that person. If you can keep your emotions separated from your attraction then I say go for it. Nothing wrong with having fun with a woman older than you.

I have been in your shoes and we had a great time. Even though she and I agreed that this was just a sexual relationship and nothing more. I was able to separate my emotions from my attraction, but she could not. I moved on and she was heart broken. So just be careful, it ain't pretty to break a heart.

Ask yourself what you would do and how would you feel if your mom dated a 26 year old, and if your sister if you have one dated someone who is 53. Dude if you sleep with her she is going to control you, she is your landlord which already gives her control, you start sleeping with her you will never get rid of her, you make her mad you will be evicted, see a beautiful and attractive girl your age and you bring her to your apartment she will sabotage the relationship. LOOK DEEP BEFORE YOU LEAP. She is an older lady and it will be difficult for her to let a young man go. RUN FOREST RUN

Let her make the first move on you. You are both single and if it comes up there's nothing wrong with going for it...just keep in mind that if she's out for more than just sex and you're not it could get ugly and you could end up looking for a new place to live.

Offer to take her out. That's how you would normally start something right? Just be prepared if you break up you'll probably be looking for a new place to live. On the other hand you may get your rent waived.

Hey loverboy, be careful. Don't assume she is interested in you just because she licked her lips when you talk to her. You will be surprised.

That's your mum you know? Even if she offers you sex you should be strong enough to resist being tempted. It's weird indeed.

If you get into this trap with an elderly lady, you might spoil your future prospects of healthy relationship with a girl of your age. As these things haunt you. So stay away from her. There are many such distractions in life and you can't be jumping at each one of them. Stay focussed on your daily work and socialize with your age group.

when she comes over as it seems the two of you are talking a lot go to bathroom as you are talking to her and get in shower as you continue the conversation if she is acting like that you may not need any hot water as you will have a partner in the shower and if not and she leaves then you have answered your question then havent you and now are clean also lol

Go for it, if you think she is hot...however, you have to be honest that this relationship will not go very far. As she gets older you will no longer find her attractive and will want someone else...then be ready to move out.
