My 33yr old daughter has been having the contraceptive injection for 7 years. I know she is overweight and also suffers from high blood pressure (although she has no medication for this). Why do they continue to give the injection when they say that, after 5 years, they do not normally like to give it? Each time she has the injection, they tell her she must lose weight, but still they give it. Any advise please? I am worried.

I just recently bought flood lights that is located in the garden (ground level) of my front lawn. These flood lights are positioned in a way that when it rains water may enter the open area where the base meets to point where it gets electricity.

I have decided to wrap the base area with plastic (and elastic bands to keep it secure) but can someone tell me ... is that safe to do...it will keep the water out but does the flood lights give off heat at the point of contact and so my wrapping it in plastic would be bad (no heat can escape)?

We have 3 puppies in the house now that are about 2 months old.
Stuffing and cheesecloth started appearing all over our house because the afore-mentioned puppies ripped out the liner under our bed and began to play in our boxspring.
My brilliant wife came up with an inexpensive simple solution to this problem that i wish to pass along.
We went to our local lowes hardware store and bought 2 4x8 sheets of lou-on (basiclly cardboard but tougher) for $6.00 each.
We had them cut in half brought them home, overlapped them ( no cutting for hubby! ) on the bottom of the boxspring and tacked them down with finishing nails.
The whole project cost us $12 dollars took 10 minutes and now our bed is puppy proof i plan to do the same to our sofas and chairs.
It seems like someone at a mattress company would have forseen the puppie scenario and thought of this already but since mattresses do not come puppy-proofed I felt obliged to throw this out there to the world. Wolf

Does anyone have a funny idea for a photo Christmas card for my family of 5? It would be me (the mom), my husband, and our three boys, ages 6, 4 and 1. I'd love to do something that makes people laugh. We don't take ourselves too seriously around here. THANKS!

... all others are condemned to go to hell?

(In this view, Jesus didn't heal all the sick who came to him because he had already chosen those who would be healed, and neither will he save everyone because he's already chosen those whom he will save.)

Many evangelicals may think this is odd dogma, but it is the faith espoused by Jean Calvin in the 15th century and is still held by those who adhere strictly to his theology.
