Why are so many people using pain meds to get high these days? And why are they so damn proud of it. I can't believe the way people answer on here about them. Most don't have a clue what they are talking about, but they sure think that they do and that scares me to death.
Addiction is so bad now that REAL patients with pain complain that when they go to the doctor the doc is afraid to prescribe it because they are being watched. It's nuts.
There was actually a girl on this site earlier that though it was okay that she has been on methadone for 6yrs to get off of Tramadol/Ultram. Whats it coming too? How could so many people need to numb their reality so much that they will resort to narcotics that cause a wealth of health problems in their futures.

Well what happened today to your premature celebration- POOF !!! Gone (all major U.S. markets down +- 2.5 %), oil tops $90.00/ barrel, national debt at record highs (psst- leads to higher taxes sooner or later), record foreclosure rates, record low savings rates, REAL wages down (counts price of housing, gas, electricity, food, etc.), rapidly shrinking middle class, "robust economy" my aching asterisk. Can you see the BIG picture? Let me guess, some of you still believe our Liar In Chief (aka. Li'l bush), don't you?

my friends just 6 year old daughter masturbates by jumping up and down on a stuffed animal. She stops and redirects her daughter. But are they any preventions she can put in place for when she isnt there and maybe a family member is babysitting. I just met this girl, and we seemed to really click. I'm just bad at getting things started when it comes to friends. (I'm not lez, I have a boyfriend, just not good at the whole social scene). Out of your experience, what would you consider the first "hang out" session to be? I'm 27(yea, that's sad, I have no social skills at 27). I don't beleive getting drunk is proper etiquett when you first meet someone, and I don't beleive inviting them to your home, our their home is proper either. What do you suggest I should do for entertainment? (In case you're wondering, I've suffered from social anxeity for years, and I'm trying to fight it), so any suggestions you have please let me know. it was ok for me. we had a pary day at school. it was kinda borring though cuz there was a dance at the end but they played sucky music from the 60's & 70's. so we didn't really dance and it was boring. We whatched a movie and had pizza though!! :)

Mrs. Lonefold's dishwasher quit working, so she called a repairman.

He couldn't accommodate her with an evening appointment, and, since she had to go to work the next day, she told him: "I'll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I'll mail you the check."

"By the way, don't worry about my Rottweiler. He won't bother you. But, whatever you do, not under any circumstances talk to my parrot!"

When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Lonefold's apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Rottweiler he had ever seen.

But, just like she had said, the dog just lay there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business.

However, the whole time he was there, the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling, and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn't contain himself any longer and yelled, "Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!"

To which the parrot replied, "Get him, Brutus!"

I have a friends who has a 3 yr old son. My concern is she is over feeding him. Here is an example. For B-fast she fed him 8oz milk & a banana. She took him to daycare & fed him 2 servings of eggs & a bowl of cereal. The child doesnt stop eating because I believe he has been "trained" to eat like this by mom. When this was brought up the mother said this is normal & this is how he always eats. No-one else in this family eats like this, but mom is determined to make sure he gets "enough" to eat.

My concern is this child may develop health issues down the road.

Any thought?

The movie is about an African American who is contracted by a white guy to kill some people. He only collects payment on the first of January for all the killings. There was a little girl in the movie and she had this red book I think it is a really good movie I can't remember the name.
