She says its a virus and thinks he is over the worst part of it. He is very hoarse and cant bark.
He has started eating again and has an appetite.
He was caught by the dog catcher and put in the pound 3 weekends ago, and has been sick ever since I brought him home.
A lady who lives 2 blocks from me claims to be a vet tech and calls every complaint imaginable on my dog. The police have been here, He has been in the pound once. She sent her husband to my house to complain he was running around town and she was going to impound him. He was not loose, he was in the machine shop in the garage sleeping on the floor.
There are about 4 or so labs in our area. We live in a farm community and she really is working on my last nerve. The dog runs in a fenced in back yard and slipped away 3 times in 4 yrs. Everyone in our area have dogs to keep druggies out of the farm chemicals etc.
Im mad because he was in the pound and now is very sick.
What can I do to help the situation?

Well there was this one time when I was studying he came over and asked what i was doing I was also very stressed for this big test, and I told him and he said don't worry about it he also came back later to ask how it was going but I had my headphones on. He also stood there forever after that.

- Before I went to the star thing I had choir practice, and before we left he came over with his friend, to ask us where it was going to be at. My friend and I didn’t know either so we called my friend who knew about it. The weird thing was was that his brother was already there, who he came with, at the star thing. When I came with my friends I saw him there and so when we came we sat down we were going to sit on the floor but we moved to the chairs he did the same and sat right behind me and there were a lot of other chairs open. During it he would make fun of the pictures and what not. At the end I chucked my scarf at him and he kept pulling on it and wouldn't let me have it back. We went outside to look at telescopes. One of the kids had problems with his so I went over the kid I like went over to look at it he couldn't see so i pulled out my cell phone for the light and I saw him smiling. When we went over to look at the big telescope he and his little brother were running around me I guess playing not sure, but the kid next to me “guys stop being flirts” so yeah…

- On New Years eve I went to a Black tie party, I went out side after dancing and when I tried to get back in it was locked I then called my best friend to chat and to keep my mind off of being out in the dark (I hate the dark) so I called and asked if she could help me to call my friends or something. And well he was at her house. I asked if should could like come over and rescue me and what not and then he got on the phone and said he would come and save me. This was a minor story, but I felt like sharing. ^.^

- Ok so during school I had to do a play, it was really for the older class but they needed more people so I had to even though I didn’t want to. After my part was done I didn’t have to go back up. (Thank god!!) He was talking to much with his friend so he got moved. I thought he was farther from my chair, but he was right in front of it. So during the play he would keep turning around to comment on the play. I had a meeting with my teacher to sing some song for something, after that I when back to get my jacket and he came by to ask me what he said who knows why because he came in not to long into the convo. So that was one of the moments.

- While at my graduation he gave a speech and while he was up there I could feel someone stare at me and when I looked at him he was staring at me even almost during the entire time he spoke to. That was a little on, but hey I told you anyway

Pick 10 movies that you think everyone should see in a lifetime. Like ones that are thought provoking, or enlightening, moving, have a powerful messege, things like that. ((you can put just a few if you can't think, or more if you want))

: D Thanks

I just found out by watching the news that there are 2 elemantry schools here that have had reported cases of MRSA. I think the school district should've sent a letter home to all parents about this. I shouldn't have to hear about it on the news. I constantly remind my daughter to wash her hands after using the bathroom and throughout the day so she doesn't get sick. Do you think the school district should've reported the cases to the parents?

People worship the cross they pray to the cross and yet no one considers it an idol. Just like people having pictures of what they represent to be Jesus and they pray to them

thou hast praised the agods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
Daniel 5:23

The cross can be wooden and it can be gold and it definetly should not be idolized as it is.

What angers me the most is that even though it is symbolic of Jesus' death many just wear it because it is "pretty"
and they dont understand the meaning behind it. But all together it shouldnt be worn.

I was always taught in school that the United States was a Republic rather than a Democracy. Republics elect representatives. Democracies vote on issues by the population itself. President Reagan first started calling the US a Democracy and claimed it the world's oldest. I was working in Saudi Arabia at the time and the British started claiming that Britain was the oldest Democracy. I said the US was a Republic and the UK was a Parliamentary Monarchy. Iceland with its Althing is by record the world's oldest Democracy. It's government which is small operates much like a town meeting. 800 years it has existed. Often accredited to Greek City States. Democracy cannot really work across a diverse or large population. Though that could change with such as computer voting. But I am pretty tired of presidential claims of Democracy. We are not. As in the Pledge of Allegiance "... to the Republic for which it stands."

I'm 17! D':
My step dad is closer to my age than hers (he's 28) and he did cheat on her once with one of my moms close friends. Before that, I used to like my step dad. He seemed pretty cool compared to some of the other jerks she married. He was like an older brother to me.
And then one day me and him were innocently horsing around (i'm a tomboy :p)and stuff and my mom got all upset. It's like walking on eggshells with her, really. And now she says mockingly that we "have a crush on each other"! That was FREAKING UNCALLED FOR!!!
And not only that but she goes on and on about how "men are" and stuff and I hate it! I didn't mean to do anything! I didn't do anything either! I'm actually a 'good girl'.
I got so fed up that I told her that if she cant trust her own daughter to be around her husband that she has serious problems.
what should i do?
