Yeah, I don't want to overwork it. I sometimes underwork paintings. I don't usually (ever?) get feedback, but I should start.

That's very nice.
Compositionally, the only thing that seems slightly out of balance to me is the lower left corner. It kind of weighs down the painting. If it were broken up, just a little bit, similar to but not even as much as the lower right, I think it would bring more harmony to the composition. Otherwise it's great.

It is beautiful the only thing i would add is a little highlight on a couple of leaves and off toward the right, for some reason I think an orange color. I'm no expert by all means it just something that I would add in, but the art is really amazing well done too. I love oil paintings.

I like the color choice. It's just me, but I favor a limited palattee, I would add one high-light though (of a bright color), to set it off. It is well balanced, I like the lights and darks, positive and negative spaces. The leaf composition is good too. It's not too busy, not to quiet. I'd say its perfect, but I would add one thing. The eye goes from the bottom middle, clockwise to between the 2 o' clock and 3 o'clock position, and freezes there in that bright light, and there is nothing there. It's like the eye is looking for something, and it's not there. The eye freezes on that brightness. I would add one more thing, one color, a fall leaf/flower perhaps or an insect. Maybe a yellow (it would really compliment the blue sky) or a powerful orange? Anything placed there would be the final highlight/resting place of the the eye on that beautiful painting. But that's just me.

Wow, you are good!

Your paintings are beautiful! In this particular piece, the colors are perfect, as is the way you captured the light. I don't really think the foilage is too sparse, but I will say that my eye is drawn to the bottom-sides of the painting--to the darkness there. They distract me from the foilage. But I'm no art critic, and I have no idea what it may need, if anything. I'd happily display it in my home as is. I also love "The Baptism"! What inspired it?

This is wonderful work but remember you are not saved by works---lol

I really like this--it looks like it is floating on water and you are underneath the water looking up

dont pay any attention to in a basket----but dont start painting on velvet ok?
and I love that blank spot with the light. anything more there I think would make your eyes want to hurt--like all of a sudden you'd be aware of the light there.

Looks good to me. I'd keep the foliage the way it is. It makes a good contrast with the background. I don't have any education about art, but hey- I'd hang it on a wall.

You inspire me to paint, while at the same time discourage me to paint, because your paintings are far beyond anything I could hope to accomplish.

I think it's perfect just the way it is.

LOL at that! I do that.. sit underneath a tree and stare up at the leaves. After a while you notice insects.

It's a wonderful rendition of what I like ot do. Can I have it? (you never get if you don't ask... lol)

I think it's lovely. I love the play of colour and the texture is very complimentary to the overall feel of the piece.
Giving it more foreground foliage will give it more depth, but I personally don't think that's needed.
I would hang this in my living room

as a former Bob Ross apprentice, I can only comment that it needs more mountains, trees, and a pond or lake (with reflection of said trees).

otherwise, its quite impressive. honestly, and if you were going to sell it i would consider buying (alas, I have no money).
